Movie about a punk band that plays at a Nazi bar. Chaos and terror ensues. Came out last year. Good movie

I liked it. Pretty brutal and realistic gore. I didn't think it was some ground breaking piece of cinema like others hyped it up to be. It was a solid film tho. I still haven't gotten around to the director's previous film "Blue Ruin". That's supposedly pretty entertaining.

Saw it in the theater when it came out, awesome movie
Some brutal sequences and genuine tension. And Patrick Stewart is fucking awesome. Also has maybe from arrested development.

One of the better horror movies I've seen in the last year

i watched it last night. i'm not sure why people are calling it a "horror movie". it's more of a suspense thriller. i definitely think it's a bit overloved but it was certainly effective and eerily quiet for a movie about loud punk rock music and skinheads. the latter is what i thought was a bit lacking as far as thematic importance. this could've just been any collective of woodsy hilljacks. to make them white supremacists didn't really add any anything.

stewart's steely performance was definitely a highlight.

Not as good as the late Anton Yelchin's previous band and movie, Rudderless.

i think my favorite scene is in the beginning when the band just reaches their first destination and yelchin's character pat answers the door. we don't see his face, when the guy who is standing there goes, "I guess you were the first one to fall asleep." then you see what they did to pat's face.

the subtle humor was a nice touch.

I really enjoyed Patrick Stewart playing old Richard Spencer
