It's not as bad as coke. For the record, I haven't done coke in years (not that there is anything wrong with that), and the only time I take an Addy, is if I am hitting two or three Phish shows in a row. By night three, my old ass is tired.

is it like the other ADD drugs that knock you out if you have ADD? I took it one of those years ago and the good moment as if I have ADD I'd be in my butt in 2 hours and they'd have to work on dose. If not, he gave me another drug to help me sleep. I never did use that second script. Hated how I felt.

Well, there's a comedown (the Adderall crash), which you have to manage. Not sure if that is what you mean.

But, like anti-depressants, sometimes it is hard to find the right med. I took some non-stimulants (like Strattera), but they did not work and made me feel like I had the flu.

Adderall is synthesized amphetamine. Athletes taking it without a scrip have been failing drug tests the last ten years or so.

There's definitely a come down, and every one I know who has taken it agrees the next day when you don't take it you are a barely controllable asshole to anyone you interact with. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but you are a noticeable prick.

It's pretty fucking amazing tho. I was on a 30mg dosage for a little while in my 20s. You could accomplish so much in one day. Unfortunately, it can really damage your heart, and can give people grand mal seizures when they go cold turkey from it.

I need it to function--I can't function without it--but I will have to look into the effects on the heart. My blood pressure is excellent, but grand mal seizures don't sound good to me.

I used to call it a cheat code for life, so I def know what you're saying. If you've been taking it for a while without any complications then more power to you. MANY Americans take it without any major side effects.
