Overall it was a really disturbing thread that directly involved someone that posts on the board. There's no telling how that guy could have reacted.

I simply reached out to Nas with a recommendation to take the thread down. He chose to do so.

By the way, any of you guys who PM'd me stating your agreement? Now's a fine time to speak up.

At the end of the Wisemen Summit we unanimously decided that the thread should be deleted and so it was. Despite the link being removed the thread wasn't good for our community or our BRAND.

Well I stated in the thread that I thought it should be deleted and I also PM'd one of the Wisemen yesterday thanking them for the removal of the link.

It was a low blow. I think the person who did it knows it, considering they used a mult account to post it and not their real login. It served no purpose here other than to provide amusement at the expense of a board member.

I didn't care for the precedent it set. It was a gray area for me. I'm not happy it was brought to light but I'm not upset about it either. At the end of the day Chas gave his real name to the board.

Lots of sad snowflakes here in this thread. Chas willingly posted his own name here being fully aware of his own past. Even without the rise of this recent story, we can all agree that he is a vile piece of trash.

MANY of you here have attended board events that have included people you have never met in your life. In some cases, a few of you have even had your children with you. If Chas was a regular attendee of board outings, would you be fine if this new information was kept private? I think you might handle this news a little differently if that were the case.

I didn't post the link, but I applaud the person who did it.

I see your point, but I respectfully disagree. I see no upside to it, and no one knows the circumstances or details. It's a bad precedent, IMO. And no one was gonna let chas babysit their kids at any point in board history. This didn't change that.
