Maybe not the board in a physical sense, but as leash said above, it sets an icky precedent. Especially for a group of members who routinely meet in real life.

I guess this boils down to how much we should know about one another. I mean, Dr. Ken has welcomed some of us into his home to be on the podcast.

Edit: I keep referring to Dr. Ken, but it's just the best example I can think of when we aren't meeting at a bar, golf course, etc. I suppose Darkside's LakemoorFest is another example.

The Wisemen said they didn't buy the board to make money, but rather to keep the board intact. It seems like there have been plenty of new members. I don't see how that thread would have curbed that.

I shared mine. I got busted for weed twice, I stole cigarettes when I was a teenager, and I drove around drunk way too many times when I was in my early 20's.

Yeah, I am conflicted. I'll screw around on here at other people's expense, but in no way would I ever want to harm someone. But in Chas' case, he treated people very poorly. I wouldn't post that info about him, but I don't feel bad that it happened.
