This game is ugly now.

If we are going to compare eras - does Michael get to recruit of the All-Stars from then to join up with the Bulls in these fictional match-ups?

If Lebron loses these Finals he'll be 3-5 in them. His first one he was in with the Cavs, before he went to the Heat, he had no shot. That was a shitty team. He carried them like no other player carried a team. Every other team was good.

Losing to GS in 2015 was fine because Love and Irving were injured. Love was not even in uniform I think. Losing to the Spurs as part of the Heat was fine too. They should have beat Dallas.

True. 2015 was heroic by Lebron to take them to 6 games. You're right.

Friends argue with me. But the most talented team the Bulls ever faced in the Finals was Portland in 92. I'll stand by that.

From what I remember of the game the Cavs suck. Warriors are better. Top notch analysis right there friends.

I recorded it. Watched the first quarter. Thought it was mostly entertaining, though pretty sloppy at times. Then pretty much fast forwarded through the rest of the game as I watched the deficit getting bigger and bigger. Surely hope it's not like this all series.

This is really bad for the NBA if this is a blowout. The salary cap rules designed to keep parity seem to have backfired and made the NBA product the worst it has been since right after Jordan left.

I don't know how a fan of any team but the Warriors gets excited for next year. I guess the Cavs fans could if the Cavs somehow find a way to improve too. Every other team is basically at a lower level.

Watching highlights now. Story of the series will prove to be Durant standing off to the side with James on him. Headfake then left and dunk baseline as James slips on his ass out of bounds.

In retrospect, Durant joining GS might be a more beta move than LBJ joining Miami. Miami was basically LBJ and Wade; their presence reduced Bosh's influence because there's only so many shots to go around. Then after Haslem you had a bunch of guys off the street making up the rest of the roster.

In GS, Durant joins two established All NBA players, one All NBA and MVP player, and two high-quality 6th man/fill in starter types (Iggy and Livingston). That's five legit players right there that he's teaming up with.

Didn't see the game but I'm a 100% certain that Curry didn't even check him. That conversation is over til he does.

Could be a lot of overreaction to one game here though too

Nah, it's over. Thompson forgot how to play basketball last night, and the Cavs still got blown out.

Only thing that could keep the series tight ImO is if the refs want it that way.

If you picked GS then this is not a surprise. I'd say even if you picked the Cavs this isn't a surprise (since the Cavs weren't going to sweep GS).

So you're saying it goes 7?

i kind of agree....we (NBA fans) sat through an awful playoffs this year, thinking at the very least we'd get an epic NBA Finals re-match. If it's full of blowouts and ends up being a sweep or 4-1, then what ?

Also, if the Clips and Raptors are blown up then things could be interesting depending on where those players land... Maybe not tho. GS could have this thing locked down the next 4 years.

We wait for the "Is Kevin Durant better than Jordan?" debates.

I love this season. Huge Warriors fan, and Durant said he wants to take less money to let GS re sign players...

Imagine what a shit show the game would've been if the Cavs had come in worn out .

Steph, for all his offensive prowess, still strikes me as a little kid at the big boy table. Durant helps him immensely this year.

Durant helps everyone he plays with but Steph won MVP twice without him. He's great on his own

Yeah Love finally seems to have found his groove with Cleveland. He is finally looking like the Kevin Love that played in Minnesota. Mixing it up offensively and rebounding aggressively again.

whoops. Well, this is why I don't bet basketball.

He got beat up by a guy playing down at the Y. I still maintain his injury wasn't that serious.
