I don't think I have eloquently stated my thoughts on the matter, so let me try again...

People get absolutely crushed on this board for things they SAY all the time. And there's nothing wrong with that... in fact, I love it. I've gone hard at Chas MANY times for comments he's made on the board that I thought were racist, or hateful, or just plain stupid.

But this has absolutely nothing to do with the message board. It's a very personal matter that affected his life deeply. It would be very different if Chas had spent the past five years railing on sex offenders on the board and this was just a huge WYC (but even then it's information we shouldn't have known).

Again, there is a huge difference between things people say on here (fair game) and personal info unearthed solely to harass that person. My question is, what is the end game? What are we trying to accomplish? There are MANY - some of whom are good friends of mine - challenging the authenticity of regret or saying he's lying or preaching to him how he should feel. The reality is that he didn't owe any of us a fucking explanation to begin with! This has nothing to do with the message board!

If people are that concerned over it, you should ask that he be banned. It would make a lot more sense than continually hitting him over the head because of something he did ( that was admittedly terrible but is still no one's business). We should ask the wise men that he be banned because of his legal status because we don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable. Or we can just continue to sit here and watch while Baby Mcnown calls him a piece of shit pedophile and tells him how he can gain message board forgiveness for an act that has nothing to do with the message board.

I am not sure that you did. If you really did, I think it would be a good idea for you to start around page 7-8 and read this thread again. This time, pay specific attention to Chas's replies and how in his first reply there is a giant run-on paragraph of excuses and things he has dealt with in his life before he attempts to explain what supposedly landed him on the list. He also ends that post with some finger pointing and trying to minimize what he did by saying others here have done things that are just as bad if not worse.

If you do all this and still do not understand my point, then I don't know what to tell you.

I agree with leash. Chas does get to try and explain himself. Everyone should have that right. Everyone else is then allowed to decide how much of it they think is true or relevant.

And after "I wa" you listed a bunch of stuff that went wrong in your life. You also ended the post by pointing fingers at the police, attorneys, the criminal justice system, and other CFMB'ers. I am sorry you have had it rough and have clear mental health issues. That sucks and nobody should make fun of you for that. However you use that as a crutch all the time here, and you did so with the latest your latest issue here.

The best thing for you to do is just keep quiet about it. You have told your story, and that is it. Yet every time you post in this thread, you say you are not posting excuses, and then you list a bunch of qualifiers as to why things ended up the way they did for you. It does not make you come off as genuine IMO.

I get that, but I don't have kids so it doesn't matter to me if he posts or not. I know the running joke here is that people who don't have kids should not comment on parental matters, but this is one instance where I can't honestly say how a parent could or should feel IMO.

On the Hansen shows that I have seen where guys do not show up but are still arrested, they are charged with a crime because of things they said in a chat. So maybe Chas said something or sent a pic that got him in trouble.
