Three months into a relationship and my girlfriend is usually really good at asking how my day is going/how it went (probably 95%+ of the days she has asked at least once). Has anybody ever had a full day of things that you've done and would have loved to talk about, only for that to be the one time s/he never asks how you day went? You're all loaded up with things to talk about, then nothing.

Almost 10 years into a marriage and she barely tolerates my presence let alone asks me how was your day.

I hate when Lady Nas asks me that question. I always say "Great! Can't complain!" and then she talks to me for hours about shit I don't want to hear. The question is usually just a tactic used by women to talk your ear off.

As a rule, I only tell my wife stories about work that are either funny, interesting or result in us getting some good $$$.

On the other hand, she insists on telling me every stupid interaction she had at her job. She teaches gymnastics to little kids so that means I get to hear re-enactments of every stupid conversation she had at work, including different high pitched voices to represent lines that were originally spoken by children and lower pitched voices to represent idiotic comments made by her boss. It's like a never ending one person play without any sort of plot.

I hate when my wife asks how my day was, and I usually reply "fine."

Last night, we were out for dinner, and she was like "what's going on on your message board?" and I replied "Lotta drama right now... too much to explain"... and then she responded with the even more dreaded "I have time. What else are we gonna talk about?" So I proceeded to tell her the entire saga. When I was done, she said "That's crazy. Are you ready to order?"

I have been married and at my job so long that my wife knows everyone I work with. So she likes to hear what's going on with people in the office. Like many work places, it is pretty much like Office Space with the characters.

My wife thinks the board is just a place for insane, grown men to have some sort of drama in their lives. I can't say that I disagree with her. She enjoys some of the stories, though, and the descriptions of characters.

I wasn't even talking about work, just a Sunday out doing things while she had her own things going on. They were infinitely more interesting than work!

My wife used to be more interested until she got into "Hidden Facebook" and now I think she gets it more that it is just an avenue for discussion.

When I showed my family that the legendary "Hockey Gay" was an actual screen name, it put to rest their concern that I had made that guy up. From that point forward, the terms "Gays" became a regular thing among my family.

I think I find this so funny because it reminds me of one time when I was a kid... my older brother and I were home alone all day, and we put a frozen pizza in the oven with the cardboard on and went to the basement and forgot about it. My mom came home from work and there was smoke billowing out of the oven, the fire detector was beeping, and the pizza was literally black. My brother started to explain, and my mom cut him off and said "I don't even care. Just take the batteries out of the smoke detector."
