Saul references him when Walt and Jesse drag him out to the desert in his first episode but Nacho never shows up on camera.

Is he referenced as being alive?

i liked seeing mike take a genuine interest in another woman besides his daughter-in-law last night. that was cute in a way.

every time i see these pathetic moments with jimmy i can't help but think back when he was sitting at a choco bolo desk with a brand new car and wonder...i know why he couldn't keep that up. but damn.

Big fan of the Sklar Brothers but that scene was weird. Took me out of BB/BCS land

Great season so far

A few questions regarding this last episode:

1. Will Jimmy's comments to the malpractice insurance company have any consequences or was the scene just intended to emphasize Jimmy's growing hatred of Chuck?
2. Will the dead/missing husband of Mike's new lady friend turn out to be a character we know from the past?
3. Will the free commercial become the turning point in Jimmy's financial condition? Maybe business for the music store takes off and they buy up more time.

1. Of course. There are no wasted moments!

2. Sounded a lot like the Good Samaritan who Hector whacked, but I don't think the timeline matches up, as I had thought that she said that he died 8 years ago.

3. See Answer to #1.

yea at the very least they will raise Chuck's premiums if not dump him altogether. Might be tough for Chuck to get insurance going forward. Can't practice law without malpractice insurance.

Chuck is a fictional character, shakes. He can get whatever insurance Vince Gilligan wants to give him. I don't find the prospect of him finding malpractice insurance harder to believe than a guy putting a spinning machine gun in the trunk of his car to take out an entire cell of neo-Nazis drug dealers.

it's kind of fun to see howard come undone a little bit. kim is the strongest character in this show, and saw slippin' jimmy in the flesh. she looks more and more uncomfortable around jimmy. she definitely won't be his new marco pasternak.

chuck is going to wind up in the psych ward with all of these risks he's taking. the little fantasy he had of a dinner party felt very pitiful and sad, because you know that's never going to happen.

nacho's scenes were sweat inducing, even though we knew he'd pull it off. you could smell the BO emanating from the un-airconditioned kitchen.

only 2 episodes left...

It's been a good season but I would like to see some action these next two episodes. It's been interesting to see Jimmy transform
into Saul.

Very good episode I thought.

Chuck's recovery and acceptance of his disease will be trouble for Jimmy.

Did we get an explanation of what Jimmy was really doing when Chuck thought he was stealing from his parents' register?

Random thoughts:

Is it possible the cook saw Nacho swap the pill bottles?
Is the body Mike found the husband of his black ladyfriend?

The last two episodes should be interesting.

It's definitely the husband but how did Mike know to look there? Is the husband the same good samaritan that Hector had killed?

The body is the "good Samaritan" that Hector had killed when the guy stumbled upon Hector's drug mules that Mike robbed. Mike went and found the body and made the phone call so the guy's relatives would get closure, if not justice.

It had to be the ladie's husband too. Mike used the metal detector because he figured the guy had a wedding ring on.

I am not sure this is true. I thought that the woman's husband had disappeared years prior to their meeting which I believe would be earlier
than the time line we are working with.

Yeah, I think you're right about it being the Good Samaritan... though I can't help thinking the lady's missing husband is going to turn up somehow.

We'll find out what happened to that woman's husband in the prequel to Better Call Saul.

Didn't Mike ask for "one thing more" from Nacho, and open up his handy-dandy notebook? I figured this was rough directions to the grave site of the Good Samaritan, and he got lucky with the metal detector.

Pretty intense stuff with Nacho and his mortar/pestle. I've been watching this season with my oldest son, in his sixth year of Pharmacy school. He listed a bunch of stuff that would have worked better than ibuprofen in the capsules, but ya gotta go with what ya got, I guess. Never would have guessed Nacho put Don in that chair.

Without cable, we watch over the internet, and get a stop action shot every since in a while due to buffering. For some reason, it is almost always is during a scene with Kim, and they are never very flattering still shots. She has that Seinfeld Two-faced look, hot sometimes, and then others...but still would.

does your son realize that this show is taking place in the early-mid 2000's? and in albuquerque, i'm sure there weren't a lot of resources.

rhea seehorn is in her mid 40's. she's going to have bad angles and shots.
