I would prefer my star play the percent and find the best shot when the other team has collapsed in the post. Irving's subsequent possession where he just pissed about with the ball while unable to get any separation from Klay was far worse than anything Lebron did.

It's exactly why LeBron should have shot the ball. He was getting to the basket at will and having a great offensive game. The best play was for him to shoot.

He wasn't getting to the basket at will on that play. Green was playing him well on the drive and Durant was in prime help position before the kickout. The pass is the smart read in that situation and Korver's on the floor precisely for that shot.

He had already beaten Green and should have attacked the basket. It's fine to make that pass earlier in the 4th or if they were up 2-0 in the series. You simply cannot live or die with Kyle Korver when you are the best player in the world.

Then why aren't you angrier about Kyrie playing "my turn" during an even more crucial part of the game? There was still over a minute left when this play went down; Jordan passed the ball later in the game on both occasions I mentioned. I'm a diehard Jordan stan but you really make the case against Lebron look a lot weaker when you're going at him with such weak stuff.

They won a championship with him doing that exact same move. It was a bad shot because he had not made one all night. This game was lost on the defensive end. They have no answer for Durant.

Kyrie made a bad decision in crunch time, but we're supposed to chalk up their failure to the defense? I'm pretty sure that "exact same move" probably created much more separation last year than it did on Klay on that play.

They gave up 118 points so yeah it's the defense. Bad shot but you have to gets stops and they can't stop this team with Durant. I'm not going to blame James or Irving. They both played their ass off. Without either it's a blowout.

It's not just the points. All the easy buckets in transition and screen roll. Got to make them work at least.

The game was in their hands down the stretch and Golden State didn't regain the lead until there was one minute left, regardless of how many points they ended up with. That's a failure at both ends of the floor IMO.
