The 2nd is better than the 1st. They are good, top 5....not sure. This is coming from a guy, that has Predator and Tombstone in his top 5.

Ugie thought Terminator 3 was better.

1st was a classic. I could watch that a million times. T2 was entertaining. could not watch a million times.

Both are great, and they're both distinctly different. T1 is a lower budget action/sci-fi/romance movie where Arnie kills everyone. T2 is a big budget action/sci-fi movie where Arnold doesn't commit a single murder. It's one of the greatest sequels of all time IMO.

First two were great. I liked T2 better though I actually saw that one first.

All of the ones with Arnold are good. I'm not even sure I saw the Christian Bale one.

Terminator Salvation was a pile of shit.

I didn't mind Genesys, but it was not in the same league as T1 or T2. I would probably put Genesys on T3 level.

I don't think I've ever sat through the first one.

The second was terrific ... I still get mileage out of quoting "say ... that's a nice bike."

I like the grittiness of the first one and doesn't feel as reliant on special affects like liquid metal T2000. That being said I like the second one very much as well.

I kind of like all of them, but #2 is my favorite.

T2 is one of the greatest films of all time, let alone sequel. it's perfect sci-fi action. "the terminator" is kind of dated now but it's still cool to watch. all 80's arnold flicks have a charm to them.

i actually didn't mind "salvation" even though it was dreary and kind of lame at the end. i still like the story enough.

I played the holy hell out of the T1 and T2 video tapes I had. Unfortunately, like a lot of action films from that time, they haven't aged as well because the effects now are so spectacular. In that era though, both would rank in my top 10, probably right after Mr. Mom.
