but at least I watched it....TWICE!

You even being in this thread disgusts me. Personally, I ignore all your posts in this thread that relate to the content of the show because I have on interest in your perspective on this topic.

I'm sure it's a lot of fun for them spending all their time helping you recall a show you've watched twice. Maybe the brighter ones are trying to figure out a way to hardwire the show from a DVR into your brain so you might retain at least some of it and still be able to fast forward commercials.

Are you guys seriously arguing over this?

The shows are both written, acted, and directed so well that one can independently exist as an Easter Egg of the other, without each being necessary viewing for enjoyment of the other.

They equally stand both independently, and, in conjunction with the other.

Chuck walking down the freezer aisle was shades of Walt's fugue state.

Saw the car accident coming, but thought Kim would be killed...final episode should be interesting.

I think said life-changing event will almost definitely portend toward a shift in lifestyle and geographic location.

Maybe she opens up a BBQ place in KC that is ALSO a front for meth! That would be cool.

I am gonna guess this is where Kim disappears, Jimmy gets that money, and opens his own law practice.

I'm gonna say that Jimmy doesn't get the money from Sandpiper. He's not a lawyer right now so he's probably gonna to hosed on the referral fee.

I was underwhelmed by the finale.

As Chuck was punching holes in his house, I thought he was going to find some planted device (that was causing the meter to spin).

I too thought Jimmy planted something somewhere when he stopped in the kitchen after Chuck said Jimmy never mattered much to him.

Him punching the holes through the wall shows him relapsing into his condition after he told off Jimmy. It seems to indicate his relationship with him is what may trigger the mental illness.

That's true. He had gotten better with no contact from Jimmy. Once Jimmy comes back, he's nuts again. That may be coincidental, though, as Chuck went downhill after he was forced out of his firm.

If Chuck goes up in blazes, does Jimmy own 1/3 of the law firm and inherit Chuck's assets.

since it's a suicide, Chuck would've had a plan and probably had a will drawn up to donate it to charity

chuck also revealed himself to be a hypocrite by saying jimmy didn't matter to him much. jimmy mattered a great deal. but chuck could never "beat" jimmy, and succumbed to his presence. it was really striking to see him destroy his house, but that last shot of him kicking over the "lantern" (the title of the episode), just symbolized everything he and jimmy had. and quite on purpose that the first scene in the episode also featured a lantern, when chuck was reading to jimmy as a kid. and in that story, everything was going to work out.

it was great to see nacho's exhaustive switcheroo work pay off too, even though everyone could easily see that coming.

jimmy could argue it was the unsafe conditions that led to an accidental death. all the photos mike took. not exactly a standard suicide situation. im thinking jimmy gets his Saul office money by benefiting from chucks death

God I hope not.

Funny story is they were filming some shots from a distance and they didn't block off the parking lot well enough and actual dudes were pulling up to her and they had to run and tell her they weren't part of the show.

I think something similar happened to the guy who played Bubbles on The Wire.

I don't think the Kim/Wendy thing is gonna happen. Gilligan usually shoots straight with these characters. Just something I've ready the last few weeks on reddit and after the finale the talk picked up some momentum.

The addict prostitute in Breaking Bad. Hank brings Walt Jr to see her, and then Jesse tries to kill some people by having her deliver ricin-laced hamburgers to them.
