This mock has them taking the Vanderbilt outfielder Jeren Kendall. Seems like high-upside outfielders have been a development stumbling block recently.

You are using Ian Happ as an example of success?

.784 OPS from a rookie ain't too shabby. ?

Dropping like a rock once he provided a little bit of scouting.

No, No, No, you are confused. We aren't talking about Yoan Moncada.

Anyways, you could line up every GM in baseball at this point and they would ALL take Happ over "AAA Fulmer" right now.

but that's not the question at hand

This is really the only correct take.

MLB.com mock has them taking North Carolina right-hander J.B. Bukauskas.

Saw this scouting report and now hope they don't take him.

"Bukauskas has toned down his delivery in college, but he still throws with effort and he's a 6-foot right-hander, so there's concern that he might be destined for the bullpen rather than the rotation. Some scouts who believe he can make it as a starter liken him to Sonny Gray, and others say he has better command than the similarly sized Carson Fulmer, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2015 Draft."

This one has them taking something called a Pavin Smith.

I don't care if he's a midget if he throws 95. that's the issue with Carson Fulmer. The dude throws 92 and doesn't even have good control. how in the hell did he rack up those college stats?

I'm told it is White at an under slot deal. We'll see if he's right this time.

Same guy who told you abut the Robert signing? If this is wrong, is he just messing with you?

I'd be perfectly fine with that unless Haelsey is on the board.

I watch these college videos and all I see is balls exploding off metal bats. I don't see how you can evaluate anything other than to say this guy hit .400 and this guy hit .300.

MANY go to the Cape Cod league to use a wood bat and showcase their ability to translate from metal to wood.

Haseley seems like the kind of player they really need, but those types of hitters are so en vogue now I doubt he last to 11. I looked up Evan White, wouldn't have a problem with him as an underslot.

I guess Jaren Kendall and Evan White are not top people then.

(yes I know Kendall played like 4 games)

Sox are almost guaranteed a good position player at 11.

At least you stopped saying he was a poor fielder, baby steps.
