Not exactly. In Tampa, he supposedly was the best manager in baseball and able to fix things.

This isn't like Schwarber where I can just say stop being fat and slow and a dbag. It's harder with coaches.

 What does "fix things" even mean? He's supposed to make Kyle Schwarber start hitting?
As I've made clear, "manager doesn't matter" is a fair answer to what I am saying and I tend to go more towards that line of thinking.

Let's try and make this simple. Is Joe Maddon a great manager?

I said he is doing nothing to fix it.

I'll put it this way. If you think Maddon is a "great manager" then the expectation is he should be able to fix the Cubs this year.

This is just a bizarre viewpoint.
Why? Wouldn't a great manager be able to fix a talented team like this?

That Sox team had to compete against a 95-win and a 96-win team in the same division. If a team of similar caliber were in the National League Central this year the Cubs would be down ten games by the half-way mark at this rate.

Cool story bro. Hey the 86 Bears faced some stiff competition too.

SOME Cub fans trying to live up to the impossibly high standards set by the 2005-2006 White Sox and failing.

SAD!

And the '86 Bears beat the tar off that competition, going 14-2 and won their division by like 5 or 6 games. That would be like winning a baseball division by 20 or 25 games. Honestly, are fucking stupid are you?

And it as great flapjacks. Dominant team. But nobody gives a fuck about the 85 bears anymore, or the 86 bears. And trying to live those old glory days is sad. very sad. Almost as sad as grown ass man begging for rides to go golfing.

I understand the 2005 White Sox still bother you but it is time to find peace with yourself.

But people care about the 2017 Cubs. Some people care a LOT about the 2017 White Sox too.

Fact is the '86 Bears were dominant. The 2017 Cubs, to this point, have been mediocre at best and the biggest disappointment in MLB.

As I said, if you want to be taken seriously, and it appears that you do, make your points without the incredibly lame pancake and car comments. I don't give a fuck one way or another, but continuing to use those honestly makes you come across like a third grader. If you're fine with being known as the board dipshit, then keep it up I guess.

We will need to do a wellness check on all CFMB Sox fans when the 2017 Cubs win the division at 83-79 and then win the World Series.

So, sometimes he's a good manager and sometimes he's a bad manager?

The ones with psychological issues are Cubs fans who keep posting in the Sox section, in a thread about a Sox team that is over a decade old at this point.

How about the fact that a Sox thread, started by a whiny Sox fan, about a team that is over a decade old even exists? Shouldn't we start there?

No. We should start with people starting serious threads about guys with less than 100 big league at bats and calling them a success....and calling out the opposite team's fanbase while doing so.
