Looked like him.

God I love this show.

It's so beautifully shot. Every week is like a new major motion picture.

Yes it was Beric. Some people are speculating he's a proto Azar Ahai, and John Snow will eventually take his place.

I just assumed the final season would be split up by a year. Seems like everyone does it.

i don't think they're considering this season part of the last.

It's not. I doubt they split up the final season as it's only 7 or 8 episodes I think.

Doc is right. Too much pressure now.

How can he even think about finishing when the series out paced the books?
It pretty much is a done deal I would think?

The books and show have gone in such different directions, that he COULD finish but he won't.

Are they not doing a spin off series with this?

They are doing 5, I think.

That's not a joke.

I read somewhere that at least four were being developed for sure. The possibilities include sequels as well as prequels to different timelines and characters.

Yes. It was 4 originally but then I heard there was a 5th, but that might have just been a rumor about the 5th.

4 for sure.

I think the concept was to develop them but thin the herd as each idea progressed. I can't imagine them doing 4 as being a successful move. That being said, a prequel set a few generations in past could be interesting. Maybe the conquest of Westeros for example.

The post apocalyptic theory is interesting, but I feel like it would turn a lot of people off if that was revealed to be the reality we are watching. Wouldn't mind seeing them try to pull it off.

Starting up this Sunday : - D

Lot of annoying characters and storylines were killed off by Cersai, this should be a great season.

I'm really hoping Daenarys dies or becomes the main villain. She is so insufferable and such a 1 dimensional character. "Muh Dragons!"

Mad queen to be.

I'm with ya, I don't know if it's just bad casting or what but I've hated her since season one.. She's insufferable.

This is a purely a guess:

Bran is the Night King, Jon Snow marries Dany. Dany takes the Iron Thrown, Night King kills her, Snow kills Night King, becomes King.

Found this on Youtube comments:

"I have already thought this as a theory a few years ago and told a few people and they just laughed it off. I call that Game of Thrones is connected to Norse Mythology. GRRM is indeed adhering to the Ragnarök mythology, then Jaime is the only possible candidate for "Azor Ahai". He represents Tyr -- the one-handed god of war -- the champion of mankind, who in the earliest tellings of Ragnarök, prevail over Fenrir. Following the Ragnarök mythology, then Bran is almost certainly the warg ( monstrous wolf) Fenrir -- the Bound Wolf. His binding (paralyzation), comes at the hands (pun intended) of Tyr (Jaime), who loses a hand as a consequence of his actions (FYI: Tyr's hand was bitten off after binding Fenrir's legs with a magical chain -- which will supposedly restrain him until he breaks free at Ragnarök). Similarly, Bran is now bound, much like Fenrir, and is in contact with Bloodraven, who represents Loki -- Fenrir's father. So, that one's pretty easy to figure out. I think Jaime & Bran will square off again in the end, given the fact that it was their conflict that set the whole story in motion. I Will be delighted if this turns out to be true. One of the greatest story ever told."

Your theory is that Bran is the leader of the dead army? The guy who literally grabbed Bran by the arm.

Bran can travel through time. My theory is, Bran is living in the Past, Present, and Future.
