Yea, that's my point. Maybe I'm in the minority but if some kid just got jumped or beat up or whatever and I found him on my steps my initial reaction would be to help him not detain him for further investigation.

The people in this town who defend this guy are a special group. I'm ashamed of some of these residents but I guess that's what happens with old racist people.

That's not true at all. We know a lot based on the article. We know there was a massive brawl. We know he found a bb gun in his backyard. We know there was already an investigation going on into the brawl.

If you're basing your thoughts solely on a 30 second video that's a massive disconnect with logical thinking.

This has nothing to do with SJWs or "snowflakes". All it takes is a little common sense to see that video, read the rest of the story, and come to the conclusion the cop was obviously in the wrong here.

Weird thread.

If I'm following what happened...The WHITE kid got in a fight and beaten up...the fight broke up and the kid sat down on some random porch step(back yard appears fenced, so it must have been a front or side porch step or a bench in the yard)...another boy, BLACK, presumably the WHITE boys friend, walks over to check on him.

WHITE, homeowner walks outside and says "What's all this then?!". The boys attempt to be on there way...homeowner stops them and chooses to assault the BLACK boy, rather than the beaten up WHITE boy...WHITE boy films incident as it gets out of control...bitchy woman of the house has a couple of choice words for the boys.
