That's the worst time. Think about it. Mac would never be able to tune into Bernstein's show. Wouldn't be able to hear what was said. It's a horrible idea. Mac should do mornings. Cuz he could set the tone for the day. And force Bernstein to respond. But we know he won't. Cuz he'll lawyer up.

I think Beardown has found the perfect way to go full Beardown without the condescending blowback.

Is this mult Curious Hair? I thought he said it wasn't but that Bernstein quote was pretty close to CH material. It was only missing ....sigh....

Not me, again, but I’m flattered. Mac being back with the crew would be interesting. MJH was at one point equivalent to Dahl in the sense of being a major hub for old-school guy talk. Culturally, MJH had the most in common with the Howard Stern types, obviously, but if MJH is going to revive itself in the Bernstein-cum-SJW age, it's unfortunately going to be scaled back: smaller, more insular, post-peak, its best days long gone. It'll be the kind of show where everyone hates it and wants to PTFB but they'll defend it to the death if anyone from outside says what they’re already saying among themselves.

It's OK, CH, we all kind of suspected it was you, because you're the only one with the talent to pull off such a perfect mult of this kind. I applaud you, sir.

Unless you want to argue that whomever is behind Beerdown is also capable of doing a "CH as Beerdown" shtick on top of a "Beardown as Bernstein" routine....the jig is up.

I have a theory as to who it is. Like I've said, any concept posting I do is under my own name because I'm too lazy to log in and out between accounts.

That's weird. Because that Beerdown post could have come from a believable CH mult—Curious Hare, maybe.

I'd like to think that I'd listen. But I have a history of not listening to podcasts, i start and then after a week I'm not listening any more.

I would definitely listen. Though, the less Harry, the better. I've heard him on WGN weekends from time to time, and it's an extremely tough listen. Like others said, MJH pulled me into sports talk radio. I even got into an argument with you guys trashing Hancock's death

I'd prefer Mac, Jurko and Terry instead. Harry seems nice enough but he was always the weakest link on 1000 and the Game.

You know I'd listen but it wouldn't be habitual like radio.

I have come to a realization about Harry that I love to hate him. I used to think it was just pure hate but over time I learned that I missed that piñata on the radio landscape. My hate hate could return if came back unchecked. I will never say I like his work but I like for his work to be available for harsh criticism. I'd go to see him do standup if they allowed me to throw tomatoes at him but why should he care if he already has my money.

Probably listen as I have a lot of windshield time but it's m one of those idiots who goes back to heavy fuel years. Harry was/is hit or miss with me. I can enjoy the way he annoys the shit out of me at times and I did like the dynamic you three shared.

mac and terry would be better. we'd accept the terrible audio quality of terry on a cell phone in his basement (assuming he would be unwilling to leave his house)

I think Terry's mind is slipping. I don't get the love for Jurko or Harry, but Mac's shows have usually been pretty good.

Mac, sounds like you and Jurk have buried the hatchet...good...loved your chemistry...Harry always seemed out of place to me.

Would I listen?

Absolutely.

Harry is on Saturdays on WGN 720. I think they start at 3pm or 4pm. I'm often driving during that day and time.

So you can hate him on Saturdays, good dolphin. He's the same guy that you've grown to hate.
