I'm not really mad at the skipper. The SP has been respectable around here even before the Cubs got good in 2015. It wasn't spectacular from 2011-2014,but I think it was much better than the 2017 version. Hendricks missing time haasn't helped. A lot of the hitting woes are too many guys falling in love with the HR. It seems like they are hitting out of their shoes a lot. It might be this platooning thing has a lot of guys thinking it's easier to just knock the hell out of the ball instead of a seeing-eye single. The one thing I DO blame on the skipper is no one knows what and if they are playing from day to day. Try the same lineup 4 days in a row and see what happens.
