John Jay should be playing everyday for this team until he proves he can't.

Theo has made some huge mistakes with FA. Edwin Jackson and Hayward equals one high load of garbage.

Lots of blown chances today. The biggest being 2 men on with no outs, and then 3 straight strike outs. Lots of awful at bats with men on today, coupled with Lester not being able to make 2 plays, were key reasons for today's suckfest.

Loser's lament. Two outs hit against Lester that inning were line drives hit right at Russell and Rizzo. The inning could have been much worse.

I was watching the game yesterday and it had a great moment by old five head Len: coming back from the break he was talking about cubbie fans being the most attentive fan bases in baseball when at the game and they immediately cut to the green area outside the park that was packed with ticket holders.

Watching the game broadcast on the gigantic video board complete with game audio.

Wrong but indulging your fantasy, the reason for sitting outside the stadium is a lack of attention to the game

What is wrong, exactly?

If they were coming back from a break, and showing video of the crowd inside the Park at Wrigley, this means the inning had not yet started. Are you bitching that you saw some people not looking at the video board (field) between innings? The same moment when people get our of their seats to piss or grab items from the concessions?

Wow, dude. I thought you were good at this? Sox fans need a new subdivision representative.

Have I not been clear in the two posts where I used the word "outside", that the camera cut to people on the green outside the walls of the stadium but inside the gates allowing access to ticket holders?

DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT THE VIDEO BOARD OUTSIDE OF THE STADIUM BROADCASTS THE ENTIRE GAME WITH AUDIO.

Maybe some of them have obstructed seats? Maybe a group of four of them picked up super cheap single seat tickets the day of the game and decided to watch the game from the Park versus standing room somewhere inside the ballpark.

I'm fairly sure you're not at Guaranteed Rate Field 81 times a season. Do you feel like you are unable to pay attention to the game when you watch on TV?

I certainly wouldn't call myself an attentive fan if I bought a ticket to a game then went to a park and watched on TV. In fact, it is the opposite as the ticket holder is purposely distracting himself with other items. It seems to make perfect sense to you though, so maybe it is a generational misunderstanding...or they all just have obstructed views.

I was just thinking what a great fielder he is at five positions yesterday when he airmailed one throw home from center and sent another 1/3 up the third base line.

need a ruling from JORR on this. If watching games on TV and not attending makes you just a fan of watching a TV show, then what is this ?
