They're known for being totally fair and normal.

CNN never even released that fact, the fact only came out last night from Kaczynski's former editor at Buzzfeed (who I'm guessing Kaczynski used as a proxy here).

CNN is still hanging him out before the fire here. Blame them for creating the situation. CNN could've cleared this up by not adding the line or saying an editor added it that night.

Right, so the posters who quoted this Kaczynski cat's tweets and yelled at him should've slowed their SJW roll.

SJW are just the worst. Amirite?

CNN has still not released a statement or confirmation that an editor added the line and not Kaczynski (who's name is on the byline). We only know this from a former colleague of his from BuzzFeed.

CNN created this situation and is allowing it to go on. If I'm one of their employees, I'm calling for Jeff Zucker's head as it appears no one is accountable there and the reporters are left hung out to dry.

In that case, resume 4chan internet justice.

"The editor did it" sounds like a desperate excuse since this isn't going away.

Gizmodo is running with that as well in their piece detailing how the line got in there. They said a line that begins with "CNN reserves the right to..." can only come from someone much higher up than a reporter/writer

Which line was added by an executive/editor? Because even with out the "CNN reserves the right to..." line, the decision to not name the GIF maker was still painted as conditional on HAS's apology and promise not to do it again. The second line just made explicit what was implied in the first line. So OK, some executive added the second line in a buffoonish attempt to make clear that CNN's decision to not reveal the dude's identity was solely their decision, and not an agreement between the two parties. If Kaczynski wrote that first part, he still heavily implied that HAS's anonymity was conditional on his apology and recanting his other bigoted stuff.

The "CNN reserves the right.." was foolishly added as an ass covering move and it's actually gone the other way.

Every part of that article was bad and none of it should have existed.

I'm not sure, is he actively in the news because of this? After all, it was his company that filmed the original video and audio that served as the basis for Trump's tweet. We need to know who that cameraman was! It's in the public interest!

KFILE hasn't tweeted in awhile, only once RT'ing a guy who defended him from accusations of using spyware in emails he sent.

So I was barely on last several days. This CNN thing turned out to just go away?
