Just found out an hour ago that a buddy of mine was killed by this drunk asshole on my birthday, the 3rd. 2nd DUI for this asshole, I hope he goes away for life!

Nothing worse than getting a text from a friend, "horrible about Boris, I just saw him two weeks ago" and you have no idea what he's talking about. Great way to find out a friend died. Also, turns out I missed the memorial/funeral.

I have lots of smart friends who ride motorcycles and I think they're all idiots. Anyone who rides a motorcycle is playing Russia roulette every time they go for a ride. Doesn't matter at all how good a driver you are.

Happened when I was out of town. I missed the only social media post about it last Friday. I no longer play in hockey leagues so haven't been to the rink and am therefore out of the gossip loop. Haven't stopped by his barbershop in a few weeks. We only have a few shared friends and they are all guys I would see at the rink if I was still playing. Only found out about it because one of those friends texted me a couple day ago about it assuming I already knew.
