I can't think of a more deserving team to be booed.

Amen. Bryant can fuck off too. Maybe the 30 RBI .260 first half you had contributed a large part to them sucking and deserving of every boo . Fucking MVP can't even make next years ASG. Great follow up, champ. Fuck off back to Vegas and get that much needed rest you clowns are using as an excuse.

But Bryant has .930 OPS! IMU told me he's doing great!

That first inning yesterday is everything that is wrong with this team. You saw the whole mess. And even in Friday's win, you saw lots of guys left on base early in the game. The Cubs have let innings get away from them defensively, and they have failed to maximize on offensive opportunities.
Yup. The bad pitching and errors right out the gate could mean that some of the guys were looking past the game to the 4 day break, which would be on the manager as much as the players.

I don't get Bryant getting upset at the booing. The fans weren't booing Lester the man, they were booing the performance yesterday and basically for the first half of this season. You can love 2016 and hate 2017 at the same time.

It was so bad that I turned the damn game off in the top of the first after only three runs, and it got much worse. I am an absolute die hard fan that loves baseball more than life. But I couldn't watch a team that had clearly packed it in. They pulled this nonsense on Thursday with the make up game.

Maddon is the type of coach you hate when the team is running bad. He reminds me of Dusty in that regard. " Awww shucks another loss. Oh well."

The 2016 Cubs won the World Series. Not the 2017 Cubs.

Careful lesser expectations from the Red Sox fan base had Theo leaving by the backdoor in a gorilla suit. He had to be like WTF when he heard that booing yesterday.

And he is.

Cubs leadoff men last year had a .381 OBP. This year only .323. There are less guys to drive in. His BABIP is freakishly low for the season, and moreso with RISP. Kris Bryant will change nothing and end up having more RBI in the second half on that last point alone.

Agree to disagree.
