That is certainly a lot closer.

As for Cutler, let me make it clear I don't even think he was wrong to not return to the game. A lot of quarterbacks play through injuries and sometimes it is a career threatening mistake like it was for RGIII. I just took exception to Frank thinking that no player would have played through it when many quarterbacks have played through worse. Calling it a tear, regardless of technicalities, is also making it seem worse than it was.

I didn't rewrite a damn thing.
Sure you did. You blamed the Bears for not ruling him out immediately when it isn't an injury that you rule someone out for immediately. If he thought he could play he would have been right back in there. You also made it seem like no other quarterback would have played when many other quarterbacks have played through worse.

Yep. Had they done this, the whole issue would have never happened.

I didn't realize you were a doctor or trainer, and were there to examine him during the game. Talk about re-writing history...

 The doctors and trainers DIDN'T rule him out immediately! That's the point!

You are the one who wanted them to go against what the doctors and trainers said!

Once again, I must point out that you are the one advocating that the doctors were wrong to not immediately rule him out, and yet you are continuing down the path of thinking I'm the one questioning the actual doctors who saw him, when you literally are doing the exact thing you are trying to dig at me about.

 Nice subject change. Ok, it was a tear because all sprains can be called tears. I profusely apologize. Now, will you apologize for wanting the doctors to pull him immediately Dr. Frank?

If Cutler were a women, you would say people were sexist for criticizing him for not playing.

The point is moot.

Does anyone here really think Cutler would have lasted one season under Ditka?

This was during the era when they still let QBs get hit, like what Wilber Marshall did to that poor QB from Detroit.
