When I saw "last post by Hockey Gay" in the thread where I said I like disco more than metal," I knew I was getting something. Frankly, I feel I got off easy.

Metal doesn't agree with my ears on some really basic level. Too much midrange, not enough low end. Don't like it. Even "Walk" by Pantera, one of the few metal songs I do like because I thought Rob Van Dam was cool when I was 13 years old, doesn't really give the subwoofer a workout.

Was Something Corporate emo? I guess they were but not like scene-kid mallpunk emo, which was a pox on humanity in the early-to-mid-aughts. "Konstantine" was a good piano ballad. That's all I know of theirs, it's totally possible everything else sucked.
