I just bought an old grain truck, last licensed in 2008. Buddy told me he just pulls off old year stickers until he finds one the right color for this year- the cops probably won't look any farther than color (either of the plate or the driver...)

Uh...they don't look at the stickers

Their cars have cameras that scan every plate that drives by. Up to 80 plates per second. Their computer looks up every plate number instantly and tells the cop if you need to be pulled over.

You can't get around anything unless you use stolen plates that nobody has reported stolen.

Yeah it's right. In PA here you no longer need a plate renewal sticker. The cops know immediately whether you are good or not.
