Shit.

One of the more passionate lead singers I've seen live. Sounded exactly the same live as he did recorded. One of his latest songs, Heavy, speaks a lot to his struggles.

They should cremate him so the worms aren't crawling in his skin later.

Yeah, it's kind of a dead end job.

I always had a soft spot for Linkin Park. I had no idea their debut sold like 30 mil., but I do remember being out in LA before it dropped and seeing them hyped in free weeklies and magazines. They were by far the best band in that shitty rap/nu metal general, and it's sad that 2 months after this guy's idol killed himself, he dies the exact same way. 6 kids...........

I hated this band

But most girls I knew LOVED them

Cornell you could almost understand because he was in his 50s and not going to get a whole hell of a lot better

But this dude was still in his prime. An a list rockstar too. Wtf?

What an asshole. At some point it's not about yourself anymore. Life sucks? No shit. Just wait a few years, you'll get booted out eventually.

I liked a few of their songs.

It's a shame he went out like that.

A list? He wasn't on the low level of Smashmouth or Mark McGrath, but he wasn't A list either.

Not as bad as keyboard player for the Grateful Dead, or the drummer for Spinal Tap.

He was pretty A list for his demographic, worked with Jay Z, a bunch of other hip hop up n comers, sold millions of albums and had been around for almost 20 years without becoming a punchline like Papa Roach or Fred Durst. Dude had a great voice, and LP actually knew their way around a melody. They may have not been everyone's cup of tea, I'm no superfan myself, but they were pretty legit for what they were. More proof that $ can't buy everything.... :(
