Finally, we will get the entire story as she sees it. I presume the forward will be written by Long Time Guy. Just kidding buddy.

http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/34 ... ey-message

"Hillary Clinton’s upcoming book will double down on Russia’s interference and James Comey’s involvement in her stunning election defeat, according to sources familiar with the memoir.

Privately, Clinton has told friends and longtime associates that she “wants the whole story out there” as she rushes to tweak and put the finishing touches on the book due out in September.

“She really believes that’s why she lost, and she wants to explain why in no uncertain terms,” one longtime ally said. “She wants the whole story out there from her own perspective. I think a lot of people are going to be really surprised by how much she reveals.”
The ally said the book of personal essays will be a “bombshell.”

Yet Schumer and Biden disagreed....

“When you lose to somebody who has 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things — Comey, Russia — you blame yourself,” Schumer told The Washington Post earlier this week. “So what did we do wrong? People didn’t know what we stood for, just that we were against Trump. And still believe that.”

“What happened was that this was the first campaign that I can recall where my party did not talk about what it always stood for — and that was how to maintain a burgeoning middle class,” Biden said in March at the University of Pennsylvania, where he launched the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. “You didn’t hear a single solitary sentence in the last campaign about that guy working on the assembly line making $60,000 a year and a wife making $32,000 as a hostess.”

Will she ever address being too much of a coward to speak to her supporters on election night?

Probably not but they did use the word misogyny.

What about the 90% of assembly line workers that makes less than 40k/yr?

She reminds me of the Cubs. They act like Wrigley Field is a disadvantage when it's the biggest advantage in the game. She acts like she's disadvantaged by her sex when it's a built in advantage. If any man had refused to come out and speak to his supporters he would have been destroyed.

When will she confess to ordering the senate to investigate Trump from the secrecy of a command bunker located underneath a DC-area Pizza Chain?

Yeah, I already read Shattered (PM me for the ebook if you want it) and got a truer account of how she fucked it all up than whatever she could offer. People need something to vote for, not just against, and Republicans won't vote Democratic because the Republican is rude online. Now that we know how terrible an operation her campaign was, it's not a surprise she blew it.

Yeah that's another thing. Hillary Clinton has absolutely been the victim of sexist attacks over the course of her political career. But the other side being sexist doesn't mean they get disqualified and Hillary wins by default, so maybe nominate someone people haven't been taught to fucking loathe for the last quarter-century. It wouldn't even have to be a man!

She's also been the beneficiary of MANY votes simply due to her genitals.

This is the biggest piece. Obama, had a message. Trump, had a message. Hillary? I still don't know what her message was.

She didn't either (as you'll read). She hired Favreau to help her but even he couldn't articulate something.

Hillary sold herself as this hypercompetent CEO type who should win on "qualifications" alone but all she ever did was hire cult followers, backbiters, and general incompetents, so she would have been a terrible CEO anyway. I've said before that for all the shit Republicans get about "running government like a business," Democrats want to run government like a business, too. It's just that Republicans want to run it like a business from the position of capital while Democrats want to run it from the position of middle management: they want to fuss over your resume and pore over spreadsheets to find redundancies in the budget. One nation under HR.

That reminds me...Crane Kenney was on the other day and was asked why the two Cubs/Sox Wrigley games were scheduled for daytime. He started by lamenting they don't get as many night games as they want, then switched gears by saying they try to look at the schedule to maximize rest (which obviously wasn't the case as the Cubs had played the Cardinals Sunday night), and then finally admitted they would rather not burn one on the White Sox as they would sell that game out regardless of start time.

He also didn't sound like a fan of all the concerts at Wrigley. He slipped and said it's tough to schedule night games with "all the concerts we 'have' to have," and then caught himself and quickly changed it to "all the concerts we 'get' to have."

I did not like Hillary, but considered Trump much worse. I decided I would never vote for Trump. I tried to get even one reason not having to do with Trump in order to vote for Hillary. I could not find a single one.

I thought she was going to beat Trump but I was hoping she'd lose the popular vote in order to not have a "mandate". Oops.

That's why Donna Brazile wanted to place so many ad buys in Los Angeles: run up the score in California in the fear that she would win the electoral college but lose the popular vote. Like I said when Hillary Democrats allegedly crossed in the Michigan primary to stop Trump, you overthought it.

Yeah, that pretty much was her message, and it's why she lost.

The Dems have a built in advantage in the states that were formerly known as the blue wall. You just had to give lip service to the blue collar middle class there (USW and UAW workers especially) and you win with those states with 5% margins on a bad day. Hillary ceded those voters and ignored them whereas Trump was pitching directly to them. Granted, his pitch on tariffs is bullshit and would harm Americans, but the union members didn't care. Sure the union leadership told them vote blue, but the members ignored them this time around.

If Hillary so much as gave paltry attention to that base, she wins this election and carries WI, PA, and MI.

I wasn't a big Bill Clinton fan, but I thought the best thing Hillary had going for her candidacy was the idea her beloved husband would be coming with her. I envisioned Putin calling the White House, Hillary answering, and Vlad politely asking to speak to Bill.

Yeah, the Wall Street But Woke coalition was a spectacularly terrible idea.
