Was Jesus a ghost for those two days he was dead before Easter?

On the third day he rose from the dead in fulfillment of the scripture and is seated at the right hand of father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

Where was he?

I don't know man. I'm just repeating the stuff we say at church every Sunday. I'm sure Seacrest knows the official Catholic position on those two days.

They took out the part of "descended into hell" but I seem to recall it being there in my youth.

Obviously no one knows for a certainty. Acts doesn't really speak to him saying anything about where he went.

There is the tradition that heaven was not open to anyone, even the best of people, from Adam until Jesus. Jesus descended into hell, which I guess was more of a purgatory from our viewpoint, to usher those souls into heaven. This isn't scholarly, only tradition.

Obviously the body remained in the tomb, as to say otherwise would be to deny his fully human aspect.

I've told my ghost story before. We had a party when we first moved into our new house. We had a party and all of my nephews and nieces were in attendance. The kids were playing in the basement with one of my brothers. Everyone came upstairs when it was time for dinner but my brother and nephew stayed down for a couple of minutes. There was a small children's table with chairs down there for the young kids. When they were ready to eat, my brother said something like "ok, kid it's time to go". One of the chairs at the table pushed itself in. My nephew was probably about 10 at the time. My brother asked if he just saw that and he said yes.

They didn't tell that story for a while. When my brother told me, my nephew was not present. I asked him independently without leading him to a ghost story. I only said something like, "did something happen downstairs at the kids table last time you were here?" His story matched.

My oldest son was young at the time, still probably in pre school or kindergarten. He was playing in a play room and my wife hear him talking. She walked into the room and asked him who he was talking to. He said "the little boy".

I've never experienced anything, even when I was in the house alone overnight.

I previously lived in a 115 year old house. Nothing ever happened/
