We seem to have plenty of listeners but would like more.
Do any of you have suggestions as to how to broaden our audience?
I've seen a lot of things and received many offers to establish our own app specifically for the show.
What do you guys think?
Think of all the wear-and-tear you would have saved on both your keyboard and your fingers if you just would have typed, "I'm an idiot," instead of what you posted. It would have accomplished the same thing.

Again, you prove that you are no more than a petty little moron with nothing to say of any use at all.
You are a sad little cretin who seems to not have anything better to do than follow me around and insult me.
What kind of job do you have that allows you to steal from the company and spend their time playing your silly little message board games?
Be careful before you get whacked like you were at your big time light bulb job, Flapjacks!

Funny you should say that. My post above is a direct copy-paste of YOUR reply to somebody who facetiously answered a simple question in the MLB section; viewtopic.php?f=92&t=105362&p=2671277&view=show#p2671277

It's obvious that you are a very selective reader, Rick.
What's your deal anyway?
Are you Frankie Boy's big brother or are you just sorry for that little piece of vermin feces that you have to always try to fight his battles for him?
He should be fine on his own. After all, isn't he the definition of a message board tough guy personified?
Let the little follically challenged asswipe try to stand on his own two feet for a change.

I like Frank. I also like pointing out hypocrisy. It's a win-win here!

Frankie, I always assumed that you were a simple minded little twit that had nothing better to do with his life than post over 57,000 times on a message board.
Hell, I guess if that is all you have going for you in your life, I suppose you have a right to think that it is a big deal.
Now I truly realize that you are a demented little twit that in addition to 14 posts a day, you have nothing better to do than to look up my old posts and quote them.
That seems a little twisted to me.
I'm thinking that in addition to being an aggravating, self-aggrandizing little twit, you may be a tad dangerous.
Please, go get yourself some help. There are some great doctors dispensing some great medications these days.
You seem like the perfect candidate for some of them.
Have your guardian Rick take you to one of these doctors.

I would guess that at least 35 of his last 50 posts are some sort of lame insult thrown at me or another board member.

Then he logs in and asks for help with his own podcast!

You are the one who bitched at me for not using the board to promote my own podcast.
You like having it both ways, don't you Frankie Farina?

If we don't count this thread for obvious reasons it looks like it is at least 25/50. If Sarley wants to give his number I'll take the time for a better check.

Yes, I asked for help. I think that is a valid reason for the existence of a message board.
You seem to think the board exists for your trolling of Cub threads and to call Caller Bob a "moron."
But, as you are often prone to say, you are a valued board member who posts deep and valued thoughts, whereas
I have nothing of importance to say.
Please take note that I asked the board for help and Frank responded by insulting me.
Case closed.

Actually, I said, "We seem to have plenty of listeners but would like more."
I never said we had a problem retaining the listeners we had.
Thanks for your input, misguided, though it was.

Retaining listeners = more listeners.

Of however many listens you get an episode, probably 50-60% are Regular Listeners. The remainder are divided into two groups: Intermittent Listeners, and New Listeners. IL's are those that are subscribed to your feed, but only check into an episode once in awhile—if the title grabs them, if they're hoping to hear about some news from you, or saw a post of yours on social media, etc. NL's are people that just happened upon your podcast, and are perusing your goods, so to speak, trying to decide whether they'll subscribe to your feed, much less return regularly.

If you're interested only in the aggregate number of listens an episode, instead of turning IL's and NL's into RL's with great content, teases, increasing quality, whatever, you're missing the boat.

But yeah, my input is misguided.
