My local theater ( Cinemark ) has recently done a big upgrade and added all the new leather like recliners in the theaters and such.
Real nice touch for a mid-range type operation. Anyway, one of the things that they seem to do a lot of is bring back old movie
classics to the big screen that were always meant to be seen in a theatre. Sometimes they do musicals or old classics or movies
like Jaws or Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Apparently they are bringing back Unforgiven this Sunday afternoon for it's 25th
anniversary original release date. Very tempting to go and bring my 14yr old step son. Anyway, are there movies out there you
would like to see brought back for a weekend or one night only so you could experience it in an upgraded theater with superb sound
system?

Speaking of old movies,I just discovered they reproduce lobby cards.

Unforgiven I think would be one. I really liked that movie and I think it was one of the first movies my wife and I went to when we started dating. That is if it was a summer movie. Beyond that I'm sure there are a lot I would like to see, always enjoyed it as a kid when the the new Star Wars movie was to come out they would release the others a month or so before. It would be fun to see some movies that I saw as a kid on the big screen with my kids.

if a theater had like a weekend thing where they played each one day (fri, sat, sun), i'd do that. otherwise, i'd probably just see "fellowship" again.

Rachel's cousin is the Director of Film Programming at University of Wisconsin. She, myself, and her brother went there last fall to see a rare reel to reel Star Wars 1977. I think it's 70mm or something. There was something about it being one of three remaining...I can't recall entirely. It was a small theater. maybe held 50 people?

it was super cool. he had a bunch of old commercials for films of the genre that he showed before IV.

So, I guess I did my one...

Really? Surprising. Id rank that one last. (Not a reader of the books)

2 was the best. 3 was good, but too much of the cool stuff had been done in 2
