Just repeatedly sing "London Bridge is falling down" at the top of your lungs.

If you are not an impatient person, try a London Walks tour. 10 pounds, 2 hours, you walk about 2 miles on most of them.

Harrods just to laugh at the excess. Fortum and Mason if you or a loved one enjoys tea.

You can pick up some good skunk in Camden. Wouldn't cost you more than 20 quid.

Then take a nice walk through Kensington Park. Get out at Queensway tube station on the north side and you can walk all the way to Hyde Park corner. Then you're fairly close to Buckingham palace.

If you like art, the National Gallery is a good place right on Trafalgar square. There's a bunch of pubs close by and down Whitehall Rd. That's also where 10 Downing St. is located.

If you keep going in that direction, you'll go past Big Ben and the Parliament Building until you reach the giant ferris wheel.

Bud is held in slightly higher esteem than Stella, which is for trash people apparently.

Stella doesn't have a sterling reputation in Europe. My wife lived in Belgium for 6 years, and she compares the attitude towards Stella in Belgium to the attitude of Mexicans towards Corona in Mexico.

Amazing job they did branding it in the US.

Let me know if it is worth going. Always kind of wanted to but other shit seemed more fun. I would probably enjoy Scotland and Ireland more after a day in London.

As a person who has never been out of the US before I'd say it's worth a trip. Paris is probably cooler, but at least with London you don't need to translate.

There are some decent microbreweries popping up, but you have to get out to Zone 3 on the Tube to get to them.

One exception is that there is a pop-up microbrewery outlet near the O2 arena and the corresponding Tube stop.

Are you kidding? If you like ales, which I love, London is a great place. And I'm not talking about Newcastle Brown.

Abbot Ale is probably my favorite. Hard to find in our area. But you can find Fuller's London Pride.

And my favorite video of all-time on Youtube.

Vast majority of Parisians speak English fluently. The only ones that don't are the migrants, and they don't speak much French either.

Was visiting with husband of one of my wife's friends while they were visiting. Stated that the whole microbrewery idea is just starting to take off and they are finally get more options besides the big Belgians and lagers. (Not to ignore the stouts and porters but he doesn't drink dark beers). He was happy to be state side drinking ipas. I stole the scotch ales instead.
