Saw some guy in court today wearing a sweatshirt that read "I shaved my balls for this?". No, he wasn't a lawyer. Although with the way some female lawyers dress these days it probably won't be long. Sandals to court, really?

Maybe the guy is catching a flight after his court appearance. Give him a break.

I hope the judge holds him in contempt.

Wearing that shirt in public at all should be illegal.

I need to know if the shirt in question had sleeves or not before passing judgment.

Maybe he could have worn a sport coat over the t-shirt?

Ah, so he was the defendant then.

You don't walk into court so everyone can see your $5000 suit. You're there to honor the delinquent.

He was the brother of the primary defense lawyer at my mother's funeral.

A t-shirt makes you uncivilized? Did the guy work there? Was he going to trial? If not his attire shouldn't matter as long as he has on a shirt and pants.

Fist of all it was a sweatshirt. And, no, I don't care if he's wearing a t-shirt, but it shouldn't read "I shaved my ball for this?".

Bushy pubic hair is making a comeback. I'm just ahead of the curve.

Why not? This is a very elitist way of thinking.

It really is. You want the guy to come in formalwear to court and the judge probably didn't care. Why did his sweatshirt bother you so much?

Where did I say anything about formalwear? Please either show me where I said that or stop building strawmen. I know you like to do that.

I think there are certain places you go where you shouldn't wear shirts like that. A courthouse is one such place. A church would be an example of another. If that makes me elitist I'm fine with that.
