i sell IT security equipment to schools. i sold our solution to a district in OK thats rather large about 2 months ago. well finally on tuesday they decided to set it up. only to let us know that they were handing out chromebooks to students that evening at backpack night and everything needed to work.

well it didn't and they spent the entire tuesday evening complaining via email about it. well it turns out they have 2 people working on this project and its apparent 1 wanted our product and 1 very much didn't. the one that didn't is already complaining to the superintendent that "i told you so". so i come into the office on wedn and deal with it. turns out she didn't configure anything correctly or the way she was instructed (refused to get on the phone with us because she was soooo busy) and our guy fixed it in seconds once we were given access to the box (they hadn't done that either)

this is a fairly normal occurance. especially right now when guys have bought the product months ago and have to implement it asap because "KIDS ARE BACK TOMORROW!!!"

I miss Spanky, (the poster, not the thing)... I don't care about the Chris In Joliet/Spanky feud, I want that dude to return to posting
