Our local butcher shop makes frozen pizzas that are great. They are expensive, though.

For what it is, it's better than it was as a kid. It's become my go to when shopping at Meijer, because they don't stock the Gino's Thin there. I don't like a lot of the frozen pizzas because they're too bready...Tombstone's sauce has a funk to it, too.

shirtless driver was right about P'Mos...good stuff. Always a get when we're in Kenosha.

Gourmet pizza isn't available in the frozen aisle. Jack's is the frozen pizza for people who have accepted what they are and aren't ashamed of it.

Hmm, I don't have memories of that pizza at the Orange. I blew all my meal credits on those Clearly Canadian seltzer waters. I was a Domino's guy back in those days. Large one topping pizza with beverage for five dollars delivered.

I am shocked that they stopped selling those. Waybackthen kids would willingly wait for fresh ones.

Why? I could only afford one Papa Del's per semester.

I made a whole ceremony out of the process.

I wasn't saying they don't sell them. I just don't recall eating them.

Fair enough.

I dropped one (Papa Dels) in a buddies dorm room in Forbes hall once. If the others who put in on it weren't high school friends, I may have been scalped

In college, Hy-Vee had 10 pizzas for $10 of their store brand. The cashier told us they were just $1 each, and we didn't have to buy ten. We ignored him and got ten anyway. Boy, those pizzas were the worst I've had. Took about 12 Natural Lights to make those things edible.

It's great that Hank is a family man with three kids and still cuts his frozen pizzas on the box like a college bachelor would

Jack's has its place. Its fine for certain occasions. There is always a couple in our freezer as it makes for a great late nite snack for two.

Food is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to eat again. The fat breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but they refuse. They cling to the pepperoni or the cheese or crust. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

There's a pretty big difference between Jack's and The Screamin Sicicilian.

Jack's pizza is a running joke between my brothers and I. Literally running down your leg with explosive diarrhea the next day.

Home Run Inn is the right answer. I'm sure all the fancy frozen pizzas others mentioned are fine. Jacks is awful.

Digiorno's rising crust with sausage is the best frozen pie I've ever had.

Trying this Screaming Sicilian pizza...never had it before. We'll see. I was expecting it to be more expensive considering how loaded it seems.

What's the verdict here on totinos? It's been a while for me but back I remember thinking that pizza was the bomb. I know it's not as high end as some of the other brands mentioned here but I have fond memories of that stuff.

Close. Maybe early high school.
