On the surface, I have no issue with this. It's their business to do with as they please. I think alienating 50% of customers is a bad idea but there is no such thing as bad publicity. However, this is where it sucks being pro market, what if the racist old codger up the block decides he wants to have the exact same model but higher prices for black people. By my same logic I would be forced to side with the business owner despite thinking it's stupid and a terrible idea. It really forces you into a trick bag intellectually.
It is no doubt wrong to do this. There shouldn't be a debate.

I assume it is just a publicity stunt anyways.

To a certain degree.

Quite naturally...to a certain extent

Order and when they upcharge you, ask if they assumed your gender.

Then afterwards, walk into the women's bathroom and piss all over the seat.

Businesses are people. They have to follow rules just like we do.

No one would say that I have the right to do anything I please.

MANY people do believe that businesses are infallible or at least they bend principles hard in the name of business

MANY on this board will be furious about this cafe.

more fun to fuck with them than be angered by them.

Accuse them of assuming your gender and then use the women's bathroom with less than hygienic behavior

What if a man walked in there and said he identifies as a female? Does he get charged the 18%?
