They're owned by Barnabyis.

Went with the wife and kid Friday night to the one in NR. Pretty good chicken, crispy where it was supposed to be crispy and juicy where it was supposed to be juicy. Sauce was okay, but would have preferred something else. Actually liked the Texas Toast. The 4yo ate her whole meal, so must have been decent.

I checked the Naperville location out last night. I can't say it was worth the hype. It wasn't bad, just average. I don't think I would consider going here again unless I had no other option.

The Texas Toast was great though.

I found myself at 59/Ogden and picked some up to take home for dinner. Decent taste, kid-friendly. The type of thing I'd eat 2-3 times a year, especially on the road. I'd get the 3-finger meal for myself next time instead of the 4.

Texas Toast is always great. I'm thinking of starting a restaurant consulting firm and just telling every client "add Texas Toast to the menu."

Great reference. I wonder how many tortas have been adandoned by people who had to catch a flight and didn't realize it took 25 minutes to make a mexican sandwich?

The one at the United terminal is by far slower. When is hurry opt for the pre-made ones in the corner shelf on the counter. Don't let them reheat.

Average... had them in Texas, never here. I think the construction on the one in Oak Lawn is completed. Is this the one you are referring to?

I think that one is open, but I went to the one in Naperville.

Remembering this thread, I tried it tonight outside of Columbus, just down the street from my hotel.

Went through the drive through, and it got off to a bad start when I was greeted with (word-for-word) "Cluck, cluck, chicken, chicken! What kinda combo are you lickin'?"   . If I was hired there and was told to greet customers with that, my Raising Canes career would have been over before I even put on the headset.

The chicken itself that they use is quality. Problem is the breading, which was mostly mushy and sliding off (maybe think about not using styrofoam containers?). It tasted kinda OK, but bland. Needs the sauce, which is similar to the stuff you get with the fried onion things at Outback. The slaw was bland, and the fries were your typical frozen crinkle cut shit. The best part of the meal was the Texas toast.

So, I likely won't be going back. Popeye's and CFA buries this crap.

Holy shit. If i was greeted by that I would immediately leave the drive thru, completely running over anything in my way in order to exit the drive thru lane

Was in Atlanta recently and discovered that Cane's is a complete knockoff of Zaxby's (which are only located in the south).

Yeah, but for some reason I hated Zaxby's when I tried it. Cane's had some redeeming value. I actually thought about buying some when I was in Naperville the other morning to chop up and put over rice that night (eat the fries by themselves for lunch) but they weren't open yet.

My mom is the pickiest eater I've ever been around, so she loves chicken strips because they're simple.

The two best I've seen are Cheddar's and Nicky's.

My youngest gets them when we goto Culver's, but to me they are s bit drier than I prefer. I believe he uses them as a ketchup delivery vehicle.

Hit them up for lunch last week and they were, meh... The toast was the only redeeming part of it.

Fries - Soggy
Tenders - As others have mentioned, breading was falling off

Not worth the $10+ price

You think it's weird for adults to drink pop, which is one of the most bizarre opinions I've ever heard.
