Merlot Joe batting a .193 hitter for a .270 hitter. Idk if there is a more overrated manager in MLB.

wow mlb replay sucks. how was posey safe? he was out on one of the angles. who are we to complain though, we benefited all last year in the playoffs on bad MLB replay review calls LOL

this wilson guy sucks. whenever he comes into a game the other team manages to score a run in the most unconventional ways.

win tomorrow damit. losing 2/3 to the giants heading into arizona will suck.

Facing Bumgarner on a travel day might not be a fun experience for the Cubbies.

You're a Cubs fan. Do you not remember how the Cubs ate Bumgarner in the NLDS?

Do you still consider CC Sabathia a winning pitcher in 2017? He has a career .614 win%.

Now Schwarber is catching the ball and forgetting how many outs there are, having to look over at his outfield teammates to see if they are running in or not.

This feels similar to the people that did not sell the Chipotle stock when it was at $750 a share. Now you're stuck with it...hoping it recovers eventually...but knowing it won't.

Wait wait wait. Maddon just pinch hit for Almora again? What? That just doesn't make a bit of sense.

Way to get your dicks kicked in by one of the worst teams in baseball. I'm really thrilled that Theo completely emptied the system for this dead ass team.

I gotta admit. This is pretty fucking embarrassing. Would much rather have Eloy starting in left 3 times a week than Schwarber.

I really think Theo fell in love with Schwarber, and can't get away from that feeling. The guy is a DH. There is no other position for him. He isn't a national league player. It's great to have him for interleague and the World Series, but I don't see any other use for him.

Sure every team gets amped up to play the Cubs this year, but if your hitting approach is all or nothing than you aren't going to far in the playoffs. IF you get there.

These guys suck.

Q game was the key for this road trip.

Guy sucks.

We will be lucky to win a game in Arizona.

Can't believe this team is still in first. Going backwards now back to .500

Sox wanted Q straight up for Scrwarber. Should have done it.

Guess they didn't do much against losing pitcher Madison Bumgarner ?

That was the start of this season, or last year right?

Yeah trading Eloy instead of Kyle could haunt this team for the duration of the current "window".

Let's wait until Jimenez proves he can actually make the big leagues and hit the pitching

From what I've read it was what Hahn wanted in Julys trade.

I know, but still. You'd rather trust yourself playing left 3 times a week than Kyle, right?

I'm pretty sure he can hit better than .170 that Kyle is hitting. At least he can play defense right.

Theo panicked at the deadline. Doesn't look good for him. I'm still happy we have Quintana controlled for a few years, but if we could have given up less that would have been good.

The relief pitcher Wilson has been a major disappointment to me. Theo has to take some blame for this season. Along with Joe Maddon's constantly questionable managing.

He's not even a DH....he's been exposed, and Theo blew his chance at getting a king's ransom in the offseason.

I know it is joked about team wise but Schwarber is the definition of lightning in a bottle.

Theo fell victim to one of his big mottos "You can't become emotionally attached to a player". He could have had anyone he wanted for Schwarber. Now, he will sit and watch his guy suck.
