I know it is joked about team wise but Schwarber is the definition of lightning in a bottle.

Mmm...not sure that fits. Schwarber had sucess over a year and a half.

Guess it depends on your definition

Bryan LaHair was lightening in a bottle, imo

It's still August and we're in first. That's the positive.

They still can beat the weak division teams I think. But other than that they suck.

Will be interesting to see if he gets more time behind the plate with the Cone-treras injury.

I don't think Theo would mind that.

At this point, I'm ready for them to shut down Hendricks. Have Butler or Monty fill his spot. He's had nothing since coming back, and is just killing the bullpen. Pathetic effort in San Fran. Lots of blame to go around for this season. Another shit season for Heyward, this guy is stealing heavily. Bryant, Schwarber, Russell, Hendricks, and Zobrist are huge let downs. Riz has been ok, but also could be a let down.

I didnt see today's game but Hendricks has been good his other starts since he's come back. They just can't score enough runs for him whenever he pitches.

True, but he didn't complete 5 innings. For a non power pitcher to throw 96 pitches in less than 5 innings is ridiculous.
