Are any characters on a TV show truly alive?

I think I am saying, is Beric, white walkers, or Jon alive? They have been risen from the dead.

Hound for sure.

Jon
Gendry
Tormund

EDIT - Jorah also

Lot of people theorizing the undead that they come back with will be one of the 7. Hound being a favorite guess among that group. I think that'd be interesting but not buying it

Yes, make this happen.

An Undead CleganeBowl would be great and I know the writers have no problem with lazy nonsensical storylines but I don't see how/why an undead Hound would still remember he wants to kill his brother

They've mentioned that they retain some of their memories. The wights in Castle Black knew enough to go straight to the Lord Commander's chambers and try to kill him first.

I would think Jorah would make a better candidate. Bring him back as a zombie and we get a shot of Dany's eyes watering as she whispers "drakaris" to her dragon to put Jorah out of his misery.

I think you might find out that Jorah is immune to the walker stuff since he's been cured of being a stone man.

It seems like there has to be more to Jorah getting diseased and curing it than just coming back to Dany to say "HEY, I'M GOOD! CAN I DO SOMETHING? THANKS FOR GIVING ME THOSE 4 EPISODES OFF SO I COULD MAKE A MOVIE."

Yes, agree with whoever said this show has climaxed already and it's become too predictable.

Alright so people are saying Cersei is lying about being pregnant because of the prophecy. But at the beginning of the series she tells Catelyn Stark her and Robert had a young boy previously who died of a fever. So she's lying both times?

This season has been predictable to some degree because the rest of the show has foreshadowed many of these events and this is the start of the end.

I doubt you can predict what is going to happen for the season finale this year.

You'll be able to read an accurate portrayal of the finale in this thread after this weeks episode

I watched someone's video on the youtubes that said maybe Gendry might be her son. That does seem odd, but I guess he said his mother had blonde hair.

But, you could put the 2 theories together, and she could have twins(with the current pregnancy) and Gendry would make 3.

Also, I believe that a supposed script of most of season 7 leaked out before the series came back that had actual dialogue from the first episode so people could cheat a little. There were still a lot of things I didn't expect like the Casterly Rock stuff and pretty much the whole storyline with Euron.

We've known since season 1 the white walkers are coming, the dragons are coming, and that someone from the Stark family is going to be going after the family that killed their father and mother and brother.

The annulment
The Littlefinger Scroll storyline
Euron bringing Ellaria to Ceresi

The last one is understandable but the other two were detailed here pretty heavily before they happened.

I havent been shocked or surprised by anything this season. That's the point.

The annulment was foreshadowed by a storyline last year pretty heavily.

Did you expect the Casterly Rock/Highgarden happening?

That was mildly surprising. That was the best one of the season. This show has set a high standard for this kind of thing.

My theory: there will be a huge battle between White Walkers/Others vs Westerosi.

I don't think they will be opposed to each other. Jon is going to find out his real parentage soon enough. Jon and Dany are going to fuck.

I think they'll definitely be opposed to eachother at the beginning. Dany is worried about Cersei. Jon doesn't give a fuck about that. He's going to try to convince her to forget about that and fight against the WW, she's gonna (at least initially) say no and tell him he needs to bring his army down and join her to fight Cersei

Of course that's what was going to happen. For 6 seasons she has wasted all of our time saying she is rightful ruler of Westeros.

Why would she suddenly stop because a pouty dude asks for help?

Can't just add surprises for the hell of it. They need to make sense.

Yep.

George RR Martin is like Vince Russo. He'll "swerve" you just for shits and giggles but can't tell a story to save his life.

The creators of the show are to the point of trying to clean up his messes.

I know. I was just fucking around. I don't think it's been too predictable. The writing has gotten noticeably lazier since they ran out of source material and feel rushed to end everything.

Yeah. This is like saying Breaking Bad was predictable because Walter White kept on cooking crystal meth. Danaeyrs is predictable because it's the biggest storyline of the show and has been since season 1. That's why they tried to kill her as a baby.
