From hearing the background, it sounds like some pretty bad things could happen! I would implement the "5 Whys" strategy here before doing anything. Ask yourself "Why am I thinking about her that much?" And whatever the answer is to that, ask why... and the answer to that, ask why. Do it at least five times, and you might find something interesting out about your feelings/thought process.
