Free agency and trades as per Theo's usual.

Draft position players, acquire pitching

That's how you win the World Series as an AL team (or the Cubs)

I'm with Denis. This season has not been fun to watch. It's pretty much pissed me off. I guess I'm that guy also.

And Denis, you are lucky you missed last night. Pretty tough last couple of innings.

It was a slow game especially early. When it got to 6-4, I posted in Clash of Clans chat, they are going to blow it. Then I went to bed to avoid the oncoming disaster. I chuckled when I caught it in the DH that they had won on a wild pitch. Very glad I got the extra sleep.

Yeah, some good calls all around today. Rouge, the doom and gloom beta as always. Surprised to see Denis fall into that trap...day is still young!

And just being honest, this is why you pay Lester the big bucks. Did he have his "BEST" stuff today? no? But his leadership from the bench has been a catalyst for this offense.

You should ask your wife for yours back? Maybe then you would have some confidence/positive vibes with your team.

only slightly better and that margin is closing. I think the Cubs win, which will clearly make Lester's performance superior.

The margin can't really close with both guys out of the game. Do you really want to argue that Lester somehow pitched better than Feldman?

TBD, if the Cubs win, yes Lester had the better game. Come at me with all your fancy pants numbers Sabre Joe, but the game is won ON the field.

If the Cubs tie it or come back and take a lead, it will make Lester's performance better.

I wasn't watching. Did it hit the over as Frank predicted?
o/u was 10, and they got 13 last nite. So it hit, but I thought it would be more over than that.

I didn't think it would hit as Bob was mocking you about your prediction.

Lester is a bulldog, coming back all the way to match Feldman pitch for pitch! What a duel. And then in a couple more runs, it'll be like neither threw a single pitch.
