I wasn't watching. Did it hit the over as Frank predicted?
o/u was 10, and they got 13 last nite. So it hit, but I thought it would be more over than that.

I didn't think it would hit as Bob was mocking you about your prediction.
The winds never really picked up as the forecast's said they would earlier in the week. With those guys doing the chucking, and 15-20mph winds blowing out, you would not be crazy to take the over on an 18.5

But, I digress.

I hate to use the word "warrior" so loosely, and I"m trying not too...as Lackey was a "warrior" last night, but again, Lester just an absolute "warrior" today to keep the Cubs in this game. Yeoman's work folks.

We will be counting his numbers in Iowa too as that wasn't stipulated.

Yeah, some good calls all around today. Rouge, the doom and gloom beta as always. Surprised to see Denis fall into that trap...day is still young!

My comments are more a lament on a frustrating season. The Cubs should be a lock today with their highly paid Ace on the mound against a crappy Reds team. How did they only score a lone run the other day? How did they blow the lead yesterday. If you're paying attention, the inconsistency is not good. The Reds are horrible, and they are going toe to toe with the World Champs.

Can't wait to see the Cubbies at my home ballpark next Tuesday!

Anyone else comfortable with Maddon's 1-4 in the line up for the rest of the year?

Why is Caller Bob getting credit? He wasn't the first to say they were going to win.

85% of the world is working, and the other 15% come out here. It's a playground for the cocksuckers.

Not you, though. I saw that you worked overnight.

Don't worry about Lester. Feldman just got good run support.

Or according to you, Scott Feldman is obviously the better pitcher.

He's better today.

only slightly better and that margin is closing. I think the Cubs win, which will clearly make Lester's performance superior.

The margin can't really close with both guys out of the game. Do you really want to argue that Lester somehow pitched better than Feldman?

TBD, if the Cubs win, yes Lester had the better game. Come at me with all your fancy pants numbers Sabre Joe, but the game is won ON the field.

Not how it works, Bob. This game is a good example of the value of W/L record. Obviously conditions are negatively affecting ERA, WHIP, and WAR. Both starters get the no decision they deserve on a ridiculous day and get unfairly punished by "advanced" stats due to the wind.
