He'll step up. Because he's Even Steven. Then if Lester makes it back, he'll come back to earth

He will continue to pitch like a 3 or 4 because that is what he is.

3s and 4s have stretches where they pitch like 1s-2s

Im predicting he goes on such a stretch

I would agree with this post even if I really didn't because quite frankly, I don't want to get on Hank's bad side based on the last couple weeks .

Lester has been the Cubs worst pitcher since mid July? A break may do him some good.

I expect good outings from Quintana.

You posted this immediately after Lopez's 2 RBI single when the Jays took a 2-1 lead.

The previous 3 innings: Quintana gave up 1 hit and no runs.
After the Lopez hit in the 4th: Groundout, Strikeout, Strikeout.
The next 2 final innings: No hits and no runs.

Take away the stupid rainy game against the Diamondbacks = in 6 games, Quintana's ERA with the Cubs is 2.75, which is better than any other Cubs starter. Hendricks is the second lowest at 3.45

Eloy Jimenez is a Hall of Famer because you get upset watching a pitcher give up 3 consecutive opposing hits in regular season game 122 of 162.

I don't know what Jimenez might be, but I do know Quintana is a mediocre starting pitcher. The Sox may have traded a mediocre starting pitcher for a couple of busts. We won't know for awhile.

He is slightly above average. He's the Jay Cutler of baseball.

I really do not get the dislike for Quintana. Great pitcher.

Both teams will be happy with that trade in the end.
