Watching online coverage from ABC13 in Houston. Rainfall totals are unbelievable. 650 billion gallons of water have fallen in the last 24 hours in Harris County.

This doesn't bode well for Bedford Park.

I don't know what kind of impact this will have but Kanye just tweeted that Donald Trump doesn't like black people.

This scene inside a nursing home really kind of made this hit home.

The nursing home pics are crazy. Whoever is running that place should be fired. They knew this thing was coming, there is no reason to not have them evacuated.

That picture was heartbreaking. Just chilling in sewer water, because you have no other options.

I was telling someone yesterday that I would put a bullet in my head before I allowed someone to put me in a nursing home.

CNN was showing video from near the Omni hotel near the Galleria district, where they were having to take people out from the upper floors by boat. I went to a conference at that hotel a couple of years ago, it's right next to Buffalo Bayou, I-610, and the Arboretum. e.g. lowlands.

I was in Houston last year when they had a bad batch of "regular" storms, and the flooding was insane. This could be Katrina-like for Houston except that there are SO many fucking people there.

It's all the Houston Astros' fault. Every time they get good, there's a fucking insane hurricane. They are supposed to start 3 with Texas on Tuesday that's already been moved to Arlington, and then they supposedly have 3 with the Mets at home. Then they are away until the 15th when they are home for 9 games in 10 days for their last homestand.
