Tyrion's "And a Clegane to help them see it through" clapback was awesome

I just see them trying to set up this Theon redemption arc and I don't think it's working.

So they're legit gonna bring in the Golden Company in the last 6 episodes.

That's....interesting.

I'm still waiting for Young Griff to show up.

Yes. What 20000 extra people is going to accomplish against an army in the millions I hAve no idea though.

I binged watch this the past 2 weeks and caught up a few days ago.

I'm not a big fan so maybe this will offend some, but i'll try to be impartial.

I think the first 4 seasons were really good. Because they were off the original author.

The last few have been ok. They miss the depth of the author. You can tell it's made by hollywood writers.

But tonight I think it may have been a bit rushed. It felt to me like they forced twists and turns and it didnt feel natural.

I hope this show doesn't become THE WALKING DEAD in medieval times.

I guess it's still fun to watch. I don't like the blue dragon though. Sort of cheap.

Is it true that Jon is going to run against Dany on the platform that he's going to rebuild the Wall and the Night King is going to pay for it?

No blue balls from this episode. Great episode.

Love how they tied up Fake Aegon and Jon together. Nice touch for the book readers.

Tormund and a Beric have literally fought the Night Kings army. They've seen that dragons can die. They have dragonglass and fire. Their only solution to letting a dragon hover for several minutes is to yell RUN!!!! And then die.

They didn't actually show those two die...not sure how they could have survived though.

I kinda thought they might show Tormund as a wight walker at the end.

The whole wall didn't fall.

the only scene that had me sort of impatiently tapping my feet was tyrion's scene with cersei. i don't know how hard they were trying to get you to believe he might die but i knew it wasn't going to happen at all and i didn't like that it was "built up". i could see the tweener popsugar writers hemorrhaging throughout the scene but anyone with a brain would know that it was a totally phony false scare.

jaime's scene played similarly but it actually made sense for cersei to kill him at the time. letting him go, i thought, was a bit cheap and betrayed her ice cold demeanor. but, i like jaime so...i'm glad he's still around.

the stark girls scene was the strongest, and even though i didn't see a ton of support for their coming together...it was a great moment when sansa turned to littlefinger, charging him with his crimes.

since so many fan theories are turning out to be correct, it makes me fear that the whole "bran is the night king" thing is going to happen. i would really hate that.

I wonder if Tyrion got poisoned.

Also Cersei seemed to tell the Mountain to kill him. He either knew not to or wouldn't.

once the sword was unsheathed, the look on jaime's face was the most pitiful i'd seen from him. it didn't make sense at all why he was able to leave alive.

The Sansa -Arya scenes made no sense, why the charade.. They could have sentenced him and killed him anytime.. They didn't need to waste everyone's time.

Any scene with Theon has sucked since he left winterfell.. His sister should be dead, now the audience has to suffer through this dickless clown rescues her.. Zzzz

Interesting theory....

Maybe Qyburn's reanimation skills have their limits and the Mountain is just a useless lump of mobile-but-dead flesh. Who knows?

Has the Mountain done anything since reanimation?

Oh, ok, I didnt remember if he had or not, it was just a tidbit in a review I read. Would be an interesting twist, but guess not.

Littlefinger was Lord of the Vale. Needed to prove it to his men to keep them on their side.

Well that was a lot to take in this morning..... I thought it was a pretty good finale and leaves a lot to look forward to when it starts
back up. The only storyline I really couldn't care less about was the Theon one. I also thought the wall coming down so easily was a little
far fetched, but not any more or less far fetched than anything else that has happened in other episodes. It moves the story along and it
would have fallen eventually.

So what went on with Tyrion and Ceresi that led to Ceresi saying she'd join the cause?

I wish this season has been 10 episodes to slow it down just a little but I think it was as good as any season they have done. We just always look more fondly about past seasons in the moment.

The Theon stuff continues to just plain suck.

I guess I still don't really get Bran. Is he a nihilist? He seems to have an amazing superpower and is just kind of chilling letting everyone else go fight. Overall, I think the tv show is at its worst with the way they've developed his character. (Never read the books so idk if it's different)

Most of everything else was pretty awesome.

It makes sense though in shows like this, The Sopranos, The Wire...lots of good characters gone.

Lots of Tyrion is betraying Dany theories online. That would be pretty cool.

He rode a dragon and tore down the Wall last night, bro

I think it's the standard superhero thing like Gandalf in Lord Of The Rings. He only does things when he absolutely has to in order to not interfere and just be the guy who did everything. The major difference is that Bran seems to know that things don't totally get destroyed because he can see the future. His role is more of a guide than it is the hero.

I dont think he can see the future. In fact, I think he cleared that up last night in his conversation with Sam.

I sort of like the twist with Sam and Bran. It shows that while Bran is 'all-knowing of the past and present' he still needs to know where/when to look. Its like he has Google in his head. The access to all the info is there but if he doesn't know to look for it, he wont get the answer. He's not a perfect font of knowledge, he still has blind spots and faults.

I hate Sansa but I can't imagine anyone watching the Littlefinger scene and not enjoying it... I loved the progression of his scheming. Blowing it off and playing stupid, cajoling for a private audience, ordering the Knights of the Vale and finally tears and begging. Bran's little addition to the testimony was the icing on the cake.

Also, Sam's reaction to Bran saying he became the 3 eyed raven was hilarious
