ive been thinking about this a lot lately : realistically are we going to get back to the WS this year with this team? I think we all know the truth. It's more hope and hope things bounce our way if we get in type of thing for me now.

Probably won't get to the WS, and would be a huge disappointment, considering going into the season they were favorites again.

I don't think they were the favorites. They lost Fowler, who had a really good year, as well as their closer, who they swapped for a closer coming off some injury issues and then had a bad spring training. Sure, they had Schwarber for a full season and most THOUGHT that would be great. But the Dodgers were the favorites in many eyes, if their pitching could stay healthy. That proved to be accurate, even though they again had some injury problems with pitchers. Still time left to figure out the bullpen. But I agree that Edwards cannot be depended on. Great arm, but lacks command too often.

#Truth.

Surprised there aren't any cub fans sticking up for Cole. He was very unlucky tonight.

He is unlucky every night he plays in Pittsburgh. He pitched his ass off and fortunately Q matched his 0's.

I may go on a multi state killing spree if Quintana wins his last four starts.

Not really. Cole recorded 33.33% more outs.

I lost track of all the zeros Q put up in a must win road game.

A much needed win. Good to see Q step up and then Davis nail it down with no drama.

And Martin with the key steal!
