Much more fun than fantasy football: name the next 3 people to be subpoenaed in this divorce matter. 1) Blase Cupich, 2) Ronnie Woo-Woo (at his SRO), 3) Tom Skilling.

Sandi Jackson subpoenas Tamron Hall, strip club and bath house owners in Jesse Jr. divorce

The bath house owners are the one Jesse Jr. is most afraid of.

The suggestion of it should speed this thing along but that is throwing down the gauntlet by Sandi.

I'm wondering if Jessie Senior pulled any favors to get young Tamron's tight gold-digging Texas ass shipped out to MSNBC and away from Junior.

I think that's the only suit Jesse Sr. has these days that fits him. Both times I've seen him in person on flights in the last few years he's been wearing the same (or a very similar) suit.

He's a pretty big dude. Bigger than you'd think from just seeing him on TV.

Yes, even at 75 years old he's an imposing SOB physically. Last time I flew on the same flight with him it was the last LAX-Chicago that gets into O'Hare at almost 1am. He had been on a day trip (no carry-on, no stop at baggage claim, he and his assistant went straight out to the curb) and was obviously tired but fed off the energy of having the various overnight cleaning crew workers recognize and come up to him as he made the long schlep from H17 to the street.

Strictly my opinion, but I think Tamron would give you pussy if it thought it would help her career. It's not like she didn't know who Felicia Middlebrooks is and that Senior kept her enormous ass from being fired.

My best Jesse story was that I went to see the fights at the United Center. It was a TV fight. I don't remember who was fighting. There was a decent heavyweight bout scheduled as the main event but one guy got hurt so they replaced him with a local boxer who has been around forever. Anyway, the ticket sales for the card were slow and they obviously didn't want to show an empty house on television. So I was buying $50 tickets, but the agent said I got an automatic upgrade and handed me two tickets that were $250 face. I walked in and they were almost ringside. Then Jesse Sr. came in with an entourage. They sat right behind me.

Jesse Sr. used to come into my dad's diner occasionally because it was a hangout for black aldermen, white city and county patronage workers, and the TV City Hall beat reporters. (Hugh Hill and his orange hair used to get teased mercilessly almost ever day, and Burleigh Grimes was one of the nicest men I have ever met.) But I don't really remember him that well compared to the Shaw brothers, Gene Sawyer, the racist motherfucker Judge and later Mayoral candidate Gene Pincham, and Dorothy Tillman with her big hats and strings of obscenities.

I miss the 80s.

August 13, 2005 I believe??

Champion Hasim "The Rock" Rahman and WBC No. 2-ranked contender Monte "Two Gunz" Barrett. Ricardo Mayorga was also on the under card. We sat ringside also, have a buddy who is the head of security at the UC. Told us to grab the least expensive ticket and he would move us up.

From what I know about her she'd definitely "Go". One of my girls used to work with her back in the day. It was actually around the time I'd first heard of her. She was like yeah Tamron likes to chase guys with money. Saw her in the old Paje's on Milwaukee around that time. Wasn't even in the top 10 chicks in there as I recall.

Yeah, that was it. I think the Rahman-Barrett fight was supposed to be the co-feature with the other fight where the marquee guy got hurt. I was wracking my brain trying to think of the old guy they got to fill in. I think it was Oliver McCall. Maybe? I can't remember who it was that got hurt. It wouldn't have been a Klitschko, I don't think. Maybe it was. Maybe Golota? Anyway, McCall? rolled off his couch and kicked the shit out of a Polish guy.

She may have gotten as high as top 7 but no more. I will always remember that night because someone was hit in the head by a beer bottle that fell off the rail of the second level. It was funny as hell. She did one of those delayed falls. It was like someone told her "fall" "fall" and lay there as she didn't fall immediately. She was sprawled out on the floor until the paramedics came. She was trying to get a little bread it seemed.

Tamron Hall was there that night. Nothing special.

A truly legendary spot. When I'm on Franklin I still pay homage to that joint. I wasn't yet 21 when it first got cracking. I used one of my peeps id's to get in. The show at Dejoies was damn near as thick outside as it was inside. There used to be heat in that joint.

old news, but new to me... this lying cheating piece of shit gets $138k from the taxpayer as workers comp for bipolar disorder that prvents him from working.... he's trail blazing the pathway for cheating politicians to get paid.

Quote:
Jackson, 51, receives about $138,400 a year — more than he made as a freshman congressman in 1995. Most of that — about $100,000 — is workers' compensation and tax-free, according to Chicago attorney Barry Schatz, who is representing Jackson in his divorce proceeding.

The rest of Jackson's benefits are Social Security Disability Insurance payments, some of which may be taxable, Schatz said.

The payments flow to Jackson because he has bipolar disorder and depression — the issues that led to an extended leave from Congress in 2012 — and those conditions have been exacerbated by a "very difficult, contentious divorce" from former Chicago Ald. Sandi Jackson, Schatz said.

Jesse Jackson Jr. ordered to pay temporary child support
"Whatever benefits Jesse Jackson Jr. has, he earned them, and as a matter of law, he's entitled to them," the attorney said. "If the government thought he wasn't entitled to them, they wouldn't be paying them."

Jackson's workers' compensation benefits are for a temporary, total disability, the attorney said. His health is checked once a year or more, and should it improve, the benefits might change, the attorney said.

"He's not a slacker," said Schatz, who disclosed that the ex-congressman is on medication and "not currently able to work."

The president of a taxpayer watchdog group said the payments show "the system is still finding a way to take care of ex-lawmakers convicted of crimes and often in better fashion ... than many Americans with lesser financial means could expect.

"Once again, the average taxpaying citizen is left to wonder if justice was done for them," said Pete Sepp, who heads the nonpartisan National Taxpayers Union in Washington.

Tribune archives: The fall of Jesse Jackson Jr.
Jackson, a Chicago Democrat, spent 17 years in Congress before resigning while under FBI investigation. He pleaded guilty in 2013 to using about $750,000 in campaign cash over several years for vacations, luxury goods, celebrity memorabilia and other items. At the time he resigned in late November 2012, he was being paid $174,000 a year.

Before quitting, Jackson had taken a leave for treatment for bipolar disorder and depression. Jackson's workers' compensation benefit statement gives June 1, 2012, as his "date of injury." Yet he cast 72 separate roll-call votes in the House of Representatives from June 1 to 8, 2012, not missing a single vote, House records show. Later that month, his office said he was on a leave of absence and being treated for what at first was called "exhaustion."

Jackson won re-election in November 2012 with 63 percent of the vote. He did not campaign or run a TV ad, but addressed voters in a pre-election robocall. "Like many human beings, a series of events came together in my life at the same time, and they've been difficult to sort through," he said in the call. "I am human. I'm doing my best. And I'm trying to sort through them all."

Records indicate Jackson is collecting workers' compensation at the top rate given a person with a temporary total disability.

The Federal Employees' Compensation Act gives workers' compensation benefits for disability "due to personal injury or disease sustained while in the performance of duty," the Labor Department said.

Jacksons' sentencing day
Former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife, Sandi, are sentenced Aug. 14, 2013, for separate felonies related to misspending campaign funds.
Schatz couldn't explain how the former congressman's job had caused his bipolar disorder and depression. "I can't give you an explanation as to how and why," he said. "I can tell you that medical experts have diagnosed him, and as a result of the diagnosis, he is entitled to disability payments.

"If someone had a choice whether they wanted to be bipolar or not, I don't know of anybody that would want to choose to be bipolar, no matter what they were paid," he said.

Ari Wilkenfeld, a Washington employment lawyer who has handled dozens of disability cases, said it would be highly unusual to collect federal workers' compensation for bipolar disorder. He said he knew of no other such cases and that his firm, Wilkenfeld, Herendeen & Atkinson, often represents federal employees.

"What's remarkable here is by his getting workers' comp, it appears that Congressman Jackson's attorneys have convinced the government that his bipolar disorder was created by the rigors of being a member of Congress," Wilkenfeld said.
