We got 3 vs the Mets after this at home. There's no guarantee we take that series.

Brewers actually have the easiest of the remaining schedules among Cubs and Cards.

Cubs needed only 1 god damn win in this series and instead get swept.

i sort of just tuned in and was following thru my phone. But i see lots of empty seats there today. What's the deal w/ that. Also it's quiet as a mouse there.

We have 7 left vs STL and we do tend to play them well but that of course means nothing.

This years team has nothing to hang their hat on. They do nothing consistently well. Rizzo has become Votto. A great hitter on a shit team. Joe changes the lineup every day. There is no shutdown starter. The pen blows up all the time and you have no set rotation of arms down there for the 7th and 8th. Why on earth did you trade away prospects for this team?

if we miss the playoffs this year then we are the 2005 White Sox. I'll be happy that at least we got to see one in our lifetimes.

They got so many holes in this lineup. I'd like to see what they do in the offseason. And with no more 'World Series Hangover' as an excuse, I would expect them to play better than .500 next spring.

This team lost Dexter fucking Fowler and David Ross. How in the hell do they end up with huge holes in the lineup? I understand the pitchers sucking after throwing their asses off last year but the bats there is no excuse for.

Fowler at least was a legitimate every day lead off hitter. Jay is good but he doesn't play everyday.

Ross was a leader in the clubhouse. It's hard to replace that. He seemed to keep everyone loose too.

They really need to get a legitimate leadoff hitter next year. Joe needs to stop fucking w/ the lineup.

I have no clue what to do with Shcwarber. Get rid of Heyward. Zobrist may need to go as well.

i think i need to take a break from this team. I was going to do that today but i was checking my phone every 10 min. I bet it wont happen. I know when the games start this week i'll be tuning in somehow on radio or phone app etc...

If they blow it this year it'll be more of an embarassment than heartbreak. I guess having won it finally last year won't make it hurt that bad.
