First was the impromptu "and the people who knocked these buildings down" comment using a bullhorn with his arm around a firefighter working at the scene, and the other was firing a strike before game 3 of the 2001 World Series at Yankee Stadium.

No...that Joe Walsh is a legitimate nut, and a deadbeat fuck.

Everyone gets on him for that but he took care of it and it was just a case of the mother wanting more. She later admitted he always took care of her and the kids.

He was a deadbeat on many things...taxes, house payments, car insurance, campaign staffer salaries and yes, also on his kids. The joint statement that he wasn't a deadbeat was part of his settlement for being a deadbeat.

Didn't know about that, but I saw the child support thing and looked into it and that's what I read.
