Damn. 2 game weekday series at Pitt. Hoping that would be a weekend series. June weekend series at Boston might be a winner.

They play the Cubs May 6-8 then not again until Sept 21-23. Weird

That would have been a good chance to have a trip out here. I will be at a game but weekends at PNC are more fun.

Thursday home opener with an off day on Friday. Should have just made the opener on Friday with Monday being an off day. Two games with the Pirates, three with the Cubs, followed by two more with the Pirates. An eight game homestand with back to back 4 game series. LOT of home games from late July thru Labor Day. Quite a few quirks in that schedule.

I am not sure it seemed like it to me but seems the Sox did not have a lot of long home stands this year.

Early in the year they did not. IIRC, they played the most road games in the AL pre AS Break. They two long homestands in August/Sept.

I like it, 3 game sets vs Cubs and a weekend in September. Should see Kopech and Jimenez in that series.

Will probably be lucky to win 75 games next season. Probably more in the 70 win range with all of the youth. Maybe they can ruin the Cubs season in September next year.
