Do you guys still collect baseball cards?

I got the thought in my head to relive that magical year that was 2016 and the WS title.

Any good recommendations for the Cubs 2016 season and WS?

Not looking for anything too expensive. Maybe around $20/30.

Topps made a couple of nice commemorative sets. There is one of 15 cards & one of 25 cards that also comes in a commemorative box with the WS championship logo. You can find the 15 card set for around $10 and the 25 card set for closer to $20.

Yeah Topps has a lock on the MLB card market. Panini has the rights to NBA & NFL. I think Upper Deck has the NHL.

There are still some cool current Donruss baseball cards that look like the mid 80's sets & include prospects, but they have no logos on the helmets or jerseys.

Sometimes I buy a new box or 2 but I don't buy too many modern cards anymore. The prices have gotten very high due to cards with autographs & jersey patches. It's worth it when you pull good ones, but sometimes it doesn't work out. I pretty much stick to vintage 60's through early 80's football & baseball cards. Those can be pricey, but I at least know what I'm getting.

Do they sell yearly sets ? Like the whole 2016 season set. I remember the card companies use to do like 2 series, one early and one late after all the trades are done with. They still do that?

Absolutely. Topps still makes factory sets. I believe they're the only ones that still do it. Upper Deck used to back in the day. Topps also releases a series 2 for baseball, with some different inserts and "hits", meaning autographed and jersey patch cards.

But if you buy packs I recommend going to your local card store or if you buy a box online make sure they're "Hobby" & not "Retail". Hobby packs contain more rookies, inserts & hits. The retail packs are the ones sold at Walmart and Target. They're cheaper but don't have as good cards in them.
